Seriously though, if we don't win 4 out of these 5 (if not all of them), I'll be disappointed. We absolutely need to take care of the teams that we should beat, especially considering how tough the schedule gets later in the year.

I don't see much point in whining about Sam Darnold when we're all already whining about the OL, D shitting the bed, coaching, etc. Are you ever happy? I mean honestly, we rolled to 3-0 and you were still a miserable fug in most of your posts. "3-0 is great but X, Y, Z." I'm enjoying the team play well, today was tough but we'll move on. OL is obvious but outside of that TE (whether Thomas or Tremble) and LB (Carter) are in the conversation. Carter was hyped up a ton but he's really just a solid backup and should not be seeing many snaps on a top defensive unit

So we didn't look like we belonged on the field with them in the first half where we led by 1 despite them starting with the ball and having a TD handed to them? We had a series of events that spiraled out of control briefly in the 3rd quarter, not really that big of a deal in the bigger picture.

It was a 1 score game and the refs handed them a TD and took away great field position from us on a unanimously terrible call. Cowboys are a good team and we were on the road. It was not a good game but really nothing to overreact to. It's not like that Steelers game in 2018. We'll rebound next week and we have a pretty easy schedule in the coming weeks then McCaffrey will come back and hopefully Horn later in the year too. Are we SB contenders? No probably not but we're still in great position and have shown enough to be a likely playoff team -- way ahead of schedule

Yep, if not for the refs we're winning this game despite our disaster of a 3rd quarter on both sides of the ball.

Kinda but the 3rd quarter disaster didn't have much to do with the refs, and we started the quarter with the ball and up 1 point. It all started when Rhule handed the Cowboys momentum with the missed long FG attempt. Should've punted it and not given the Cowboys a short field.

Actually there absolutely is. You are going to need 3 TDs with a 2 point conversion to tie it without needing a 4th possession. If you wait to go for it on the 3rd TD and don't get it you're screwed and will need another possession. If you go for it on the 1st TD and get it, smooth sailing on the other 2 TDs. If you don't get it on the 1st attempt you can still get 2 more TDs with 2 point conversions to tie it without needing another possession. It's poor coaching to not go for it there. With our D and no timeouts it surely won't matter but there is no situation where the right decision is kicking the XP there.
