It's hard to believe but Tepper makes Richardson look like Eddie DeBartolo. Never thought I'd miss him but he'd actually be a welcome sight right now compared to Tepper.

Blackburn had 1-2 pretty solid seasons. Not amazing but at least not a weakness for us for a bit. Been terrible under Rhule though.

Or back in NE. Their ST hasn’t been good this year

Joe Judge should get an IV. Terrible HC, great ST coach

I’ve watched him plenty and stand by my opinion. He’s not a downfield threat and has poor mobility which are significant weaknesses for modern QBs. Also most of his counting stats were accumulated in garbage time/during blow outs and against bad defenses, basically the easiest situations for QBs. Many of his turnovers have come in critical situation and moments for his team that contributed to losses. He’s shown no ability to come from behind or to participate in a shootout or really to deal with in-game adversity at all. These are the same reasons I didn’t want to draft him so it has absolutely nothing to do with the Patriots. He has great short to intermediate accuracy, and fits what the Pats need out of a QB so good for them. But there’s not a team out there that isn’t coached by Belichick or Andy Reid who could have consistent success with a QB like this. He’s and Alex Smith, Bridgewater type player. Pats have a great D, run game, OL and all around coaching so they can live with a severely limited QB. Other teams can’t, us included.

Yep. And not directly related but I think it's worth noting, the best pro team in the Carolinas (Canes) has been among the most interested in smaller guys who traditionally haven't been valued and they're currently #1 in the NHL and have made the playoffs 3 straight years and been one of the best teams in that timeframe. Also Tampa Bay Lightning have taken chances on smaller players too and they've won back to back championships and have a good chance to 3 peat this year. It makes absolutely no fuging sense that these morons get in their head that you need to have some prototypical size to be worth adding to the team. Nippleshorts was the exact same way. If a guy can ball then he can ball it makes no difference what the hell he weighs in at or how tall he is or how long his arms are, etc. Get guys who can play the damn game and understand the game and fit the locker room culture. It ain't rocket science.

And Mac Jones really isn't that good either. No chance he'd have done better than Sam here with our OL and coaching. Pats have the perfect system and environment for him and he still doesn't look good most of the time. Can't really complain about not going QB in this past draft, they all sucked last year.

Step in the right direction anyways if this is true. Also seems like Cam won't even want to re-sign here based on his comments about playing for a 5 win team (and I don't blame him one bit).

CJ Henderson's Tampa performance. Could he become a force in 2022?

Maybe, maybe not. There will be OL who are cut that won't count towards the comp pick formula, also potential trades. Can also bank the cap space and spend in 2023 -
LAR o-line actually hasn't been great this year, not like in recent years. Helps to have a great offensive coach and weapons but Stafford is legitimately great at playing under duress. I'm not sure he's had a great OL at any point in his entire career...

Also if we play our cards right we could wind up with a fair amount of comp picks in 2023 to help alleviate the ones we've wasted. -

I still am a fan of the Henderson trade. If we really want to invest cap space in improving the OL and still keep guys like Reddick and Burns long term we may have to let both Donte and Gilmore walk. Horn and Henderson could be a solid starting pair and really cheap. His upside was worth the pick and Arnold was pretty worthless to us anyways. It's tough since we wasted other draft picks on Darnold but I think this one was a good value trade for a player who's better and has more upside than anyone we'd draft with that pick anyways.- 58 replies

Easy interview answer to why did your OL suck so much: "My boss wouldn't let me play the talented young players with potential that I wanted to play and develop."
-
Those LBers outside of Shaq....
-
Very underwhelming if so.

PJ is worthy of being a practice squad QB but I still would much prefer having a younger project QB than him. He should absolutely not be on an active roster.
-
No. There is not a single untouchable on our roster. And that is very depressing. On 2nd thought, I'd say Horn almost forgot about him. He was great before the injury and on a rookie deal. Can't imagine him bringing enough value in a trade to be worth it so yeah I wouldn't trade him. Seeing Chinn a lot but if we're gonna use him as a FS he's not even close to untouchable. If we move him back to his rookie year role then yeah I'd like to keep him around.
-
9 sacks in 17 games and trash against the run, how he made the pro bowl I have no idea. He's got a ton of potential still as a pass rusher but if he can be the centerpiece in a trade for an MVP caliber QB you trade him in a heartbeat.
-
Burns, Darnold and McCaffrey are our only 3 good players? McCaffrey is a net negative lately due to his contract and inability to stay on the field and being at a position that's easy to find. Burns is solid but not sure he'll be worth the 2nd contract he'll be able to demand. Darnold lol
-
Could we possibly get Watson in a trade involving McCaffrey, Darnold, Burns, and future draft picks not including 6 overall this year? If so I'd do that -- draft OL at 6, shed McC and Darnold cap hits allowing us to get more OL help in free agency and re-sign Reddick, draft RB later in the draft and go cheap at that position and we could be looking at a decent roster if we hit on the OL additions. Would also be banking on YGM being able to replace Burns a bit -- won't be quite the pass rusher but better against the run.

I never thought I'd grow to hate this guy but I did.
-
And me and Rhule both can coach this team to 5 wins
-
Never root for injuries but if Evans misses time that’s a major blow to their playoff chances so can’t complain

At least the Rams are winning so when we lose it won't matter.
