Honestly give me Bud, dude has won a championship without an insanely stacked team, had 6 years where he won at least 1 playoff series, only 2 losing seasons and only missed the playoffs once in 10 seasons. Also side note, I don't follow college ball or prospects much at all but on the surface it seems this draft sucks and the top 5-10 are pretty interchangeable -- do we even care that much about the draft lottery this year?

Stats I'd like at least 25 TDs and 12 or less INTs and 4000 plus passing yards. Also want to see at least 7.3 or 7.4 yards per attempt, that is critical to me. But more than stats I just need to see something on the field that suggests he could have the upside of being a franchise QB -- and see it consistently. As mentioned above in this thread, we need to get wins because of him, not in spite of him. We saw maybe like 10 total plays fitting that criteria last year. I saw significantly more upside plays from Darnold here in less playing time. Yes part of that was supporting cast, but part of it was on Bryce too. We'll see how he does this year but I think it's a longshot that he winds up being the guy here. He was just so damn bad last year, it's tough to turn that around. I hope he does and I'm rooting for the guy, just also realistic.

I really can't find much at all to complain about this draft and think any grade below B or C is completely ridiculous. Could even be an A. And yet pretty much all the experts have Ds or Fs for us lol. I think it's just them assuming we picked the wrong players because we've made every wrong decision since Tepper bought the team -- and in that case I really can't blame them lol

2025 isn't a great QB draft though, no? Would love to get Arch Manning in a few years. The last name alone will help us get our first SB win ever considering how they handed the one to Peyton

I'd let him lead a committee from day 1 if he gets in a full training camp but yeah wouldn't consider at any point this season giving him full bellcow back duties. Maybe an exception if we are in the playoff mix late and he's that much better than our other backs but even then I'd be hesitant. Need him to be healthy and contributing for us longer term, not just this year.

Well no excuses for Bryce not to succeed this year now. The FA OL additions and now 1st round WR and top RB… plus a “legit” young offensive minded HC. Now or never kid, I’m certainly pulling for him and us to succeed but I still am skeptical (as someone who’s usually very positive, Tepper has done this to me)

Mahomes should be back to 5000 passing yards and 40+ TDs level this year. They've added hollywood, Worthy and Rice once back from suspension (if he's suspended at all this year) is a legit threat. They all complement each other pretty damn well too, especially with Kelce. Their D lost Sneed but is still elite. They really could become the first team to threepeat

when people finally realized how stupid it was to lump 4-3 OLBs together with 3-4 OLBs when 3-4 OLBs and 4-3 DEs play the same role. now it's interior DL (including 3-4 DEs) and edge rushers. I mean seriously, how would it make any sense to consider Thomas Davis and Von Miller the same position, lol
