I could see it. Cards D is not very good at all.
-
If the Ravens are really stupid enough to let him go as has been suggested in some reports, we should be all in on getting him. Yes injuries could be a concern with his playstyle but that's a risk you gotta take if you have the opportunity.
-
Damn crazy play and catch in the Ravens game. Reminiscent of the epic helmet catch in the first Giants Pats SB
-
a shame if so.
-
when will we see Williams? I fear his development will be ruined by Clifford.

I don't think Allen won an MVP...? I think Cam is a good comparison. I absolutely love Cam and think he gets way more criticism than he deserves, especially when he was put in a pretty bad position here most of his career. But realistically, he has never been on the level of the top top guys like Mahomes and Rodgers, even in his MVP year. I don't dislike Allen at all, what I'd give to have him here with competent coaching. I was more referring to fans the last few years who have called him the best QB in the league or in that very top tier of QBs. I don't think he's there yet.

I'm really liking this Jags team with Pederson. Tepper should've been smart and fired Rhule and hired him last offseason.
-
No, in general. That was a bad first drive from him. He's a great QB definitely a franchise QB, I just think it's ridiculous that many put him above or on par with guys like Mahomes, Rodgers, etc.
-
Is Gordon actually hurt already or is it just rest? Defense already looking more solid than last year, not surprising from Clifford though.
-
Josh Allen is so overrated in my opinion.
-
I always thought he was overrated. Really more of a compiler in a Brees/Payton offense feeding him targets all the time. Yes he absolutely had/has unique skills and was definitely a solid starting WR but not a dynamic game changing weapon like the true top WRs in my opinion.

I don't think anything about the injury. It's silly for non-doctors to try to diagnose through a tv screen so I'm not going to try to. I'm saying every single thing so far has pointed to the Dolphins having followed current NFL concussion protocol with Tua. What does an independent doctor have to gain from clearing him when he shouldn't have been cleared? They sure as hell have a lot to lose doing that. Maybe there are flaws in the protocol. Ok, sure, I don't know. But there's nothing to suggest the Dolphins have done anything wrong.
-
Lol this doesn't mean anything at all and furthers my point that the Dolphins didn't do anything wrong. The sideline Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant clearly determined the instability to NOT be neurologically caused. Was he in on Ross' evil plan to risk ruining Tua's career?

Aaron Wilson: Tepper's patience with Rhule growing thin
t96 replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Brees was a choker, Payton wasn't. Douchebag yes, but fug it I want to win. And he had the balls to go for a surprise onside kick which changed the tide of a Super Bowl and got them the win. I fuging want that in Carolina. Harbaugh is my first choice then Payton. If not those two, then let's follow the trend of the league and hire one of the bright young offensive guys. -
There's a very specific protocol in place. Argue the protocol should be changed, sure by all means. But I'd be SHOCKED if the Dolphins didn't follow that protocol properly. That's all I was saying.

I saw the hit last night. That hit would do serious damage regardless of any previous concussion or not. All indications are the Dolphins did nothing wrong after the hit a week ago and followed protocol. Completely feasible that he did not have a concussion a week ago. The hit last night was absolutely brutal.

Don't get me wrong, Teddy is by no means an ideal franchise QB or a guy who will win you a SB in my opinion. But he's an adequate starter ala Alex Smith with the Chiefs. As we saw from his success in NO under Payton when Brees was hurt. I wonder if Teddy could be a stopgap option to come back here IF we were to get Payton (we're almost certainly not going to, but it's been reported Tepper may be interested). Would make a lot of sense on paper if we got SP. Sign Teddy as bridge/veteran competition for a rookie QB that SP handpicks.
-
I actually miss Teddy. Teddy with our current OL, weapons and a competent coaching staff (i.e. Sean Payton) would easily have us comfortably in the playoffs in my opinion.
-
I'd really consider moving him to slot receiver full time, or a Deebo Samuel type role with like 5-10 carries per game but mostly running routes. Pretty unbelievable at this point.
-
It has been our MO lately to have a winning record briefly in the first month or so then to completely collapse in the 2nd half of the season so I can see this easily.
-
??? we're talking about the 2021 draft
-
Or really any other QB from that draft... Lawrence might still become really good but we never had a shot at him anyways. Horn hasn't been perfect but glad we didn't reach for a QB that year.
-
We shut Stafford out 20-0 I believe, with PJ at QB
-
Luvu kicked it off with the strip and block for the defensive TD which set the tone. I give it to him.
