The Bucs are really bad. I have a feeling the Falcons take the division this year, somehow. Which is a total embarrassment for us because if we had rebuilt the right way a few years ago and didn't go with the fhule, we'd be in prime position to win the division now and going forward.

QBs in this day and age really need to be mobile. Sure there are a few exceptions like Brady but having the ability to run when there is an opening and there’s nothing else there is definitely important. Rodgers and Mahomes are great examples — neither are “running QBs” and very rarely do they have designed runs but they are still mobile and put up 200-300 rushing yards a year on plays where the opportunity presents itself. Statue QBs in this day and age better have Brady’s pocket awareness or they won’t stand a chance…

I think it’s possible, unlikely, but conceivable, that we don’t take a QB this draft, sign some vet and Corral wins a camp battle with said vet. If we wind up picking like 5-10 range and the top QBs are gone we could easily go BPA with a new staff. Corral didn’t look good at all this offseason, that much is clear. But how much of that was McAdoo and Rhule fuging him up? I don’t know but it’s certainly possible he could do much better with a better staff and that he could wind up our best option.

With a new coach coming in, Corral is likely on the outs. Especially if that coach is a guy like Payton or Harbaugh who will definitely want their own guy at QB right off the bat.

I would consider trading him for a single first round pick from another team that could be picking top 15 but Bills picks will be so late. a 2nd rounder from the Bills is basically a 3rd rounder. A 3rd rounder for one of the best players in the entire league is completely absurd. Yes I know the injury concerns, contract and positional value, but still that doesn't move the needle whatsoever. At that point we just keep him and hope Payton or Harbaugh or whoever have him in their plans. If the next HC doesn't have him in their plans, sure look at trades for lesser value then if need be. But to prematurely trade him right now for sh*t value would be incredibly stupid. Robbie on the other hand, ship him away for the best mid round pick we can get.

What he said was dumb and he didn't think it through, but he elaborated that the difference is that all the QBs having success on other NFC East teams have been with those teams and in those systems longer, while Wentz has only been with the Skins less than a year. Wilks is the man. Unlikely but I'd love for him to stick around as secondary/defensive pass game coordinator under the new coach. I also want him to do well as HC but we need to tank for a QB at this point so torn there.

He was always tied to Rhule so not surprising, but on the surface it's completely absurd that McAdoo has stuck around and the DC gets canned when the D has actually been legit and the O is historically bad.

exactly. we've got PJ and idiot McAdoodoo running the offense right now, no reason to ship McCaffrey out for pennies on the dollar. At this point just stick with him, his talent when healthy is another selling point for head coach candidates. Our rock solid OL, McCaffrey, Moore and a top draft pick is a lot of ammo to put together a legit offense. Defense pieces I would say are already there. This team isn't far off with hitting on a QB next draft and hiring a legit HC.

Qhat are your thoughts on these QBs for the 2023 draft? I'm really questioning both of the top 2 guys. Stroud I just can't believe he'll be good with Ohio St's history. And Young is friggin tiny man. Don't know much about the others although Levis seems to be a likely riser and could be a good option (despite being a Pats fan).
