Really glad to hear that. I'd be extra cautious and hold him out until he is absolutely undoubtedly 100%. If that means he doesn't even play again this year, so be it. He is one of the very few players on this team that looks like a potential future core piece. Let's not jeopardize that for no reason in a lost season.

Credit to Canales. Last year this would've been a blowout loss, we came back down multiple scores to tie it late and only lost by a last second FG drive from the best QB ever.

I know he's on the tail end of his career but I think Thielen is more of a threat against defenses than Proehl ever was. I don't think any defense ever schemed for Proehl in his entire career -- he was pretty much always a #3 at best. Plenty have schemed for Thielen who has been a high end #2 or better throughout much of his career. Yeah at this point maybe he's ideally more suited as a solid #2 or elite #3, but yeah reliability wise similar to Proehl.

we will predictably lose by 2 after failing to convert the 2 point conversion but I will gladly take the moral victory in this game. Bryce has been great, D has started to come to life with an actual pass rush and a very close barely loss to the best team in the league. can't complain

lol absurd take, the Chiefs last year lost to teams as bad as us and in worse fashion than any way this game could turn out. and yet they still won back to back SBs while taking out all of the league's best teams on the way there. Andy Reid his whole career has had some random regular season stinkers that just don't matter at all in the long run. At the stage this Chiefs team is at they really don't care much about the regular season and use a lot of these games as a way to try out different concepts and prep for the playoffs.

hell of a throw there with the pass rush in his face. this is a totally different QB than any other game we've ever seen from Bryce. even significantly better than the GB game last year.

nah dude it's just today, his last 2 games have been wins but he was average at best. less than 300 yards across the 2 games and 2 TD to 1 INT and barely above 60% completion and like 6ypa. been great today though.

Annoying but that's a smart penalty on the 2 point conversion. It's 1 yard and saved 2 points.
