  1. Yep, and that was my biggest concern with the trade as well. I mean, I'm not sure if he was going to be an asset or not, but it still felt a little bad. Even if the trade itself was good, losing a LBer with any sort of ability is concerning for this team.
  2. Man, honestly the most frustrating thing about this team right now is that they're so lacking in talent and depth at so many places after 2 pretty good drafts. The roster mismanagement under Hurney and Gettleman is simple shocking. We've got some really good guys now, but man the low points of this roster are so absolutely frustrating given that they're completely avoidable with proper management.
  3. Man I love Smitty. I miss watching him play so much. He was one of the most electric WRs of a generation.
  4. Nice job by Taylor on that play. He might be a steal as a depth player we can have around for a few years.
  5. Too many guys standing around on that 1st down. Make the tackle.
  6. Christiansen is encouraging, but keep in mind he's playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers. I'd love to see him out there again 1st string guys though.
  7. It's not just about velocity, it's about placement. The WRs want to catch these balls, they're trying to make the team too.
  8. PJ isn't afraid to take shots down field, but you can't sustain drives with 50% completion percentage week in and week out.
  9. Gotta be play calling at some point. It can't just be 4 different QBs doing it, and it not being play calling at all.
  10. God that ball was pretty. Right over the shoulder where only Robby could get it.
  11. Do you know why Darnold threw it to the flat? BECUASE IT WAS 4 and 1, and it was OPEN! Good God, why go for a TD with 1 minute and 11 left, on a low % play, when you can pick up the 1st and get 4 more tries? Do some of you all listen to yourselves? What's more exciting, 1 incompletion, or 4 more attempts at a TD?
  12. I'm with you on the timeline. I just feel like you fix your lines before you solve the rest of the problems. The work we've done on the offensive line in 2 years is 1000% pathetic.
  13. Usually the way to negate a crappy offensive line is to run the ball and setup play action to buy the QB time, but we can't even run block. So I don't know what to do. But that's on this staff and organization. We've let the offensive line fall apart for years.
  14. Because they graded out better than anyone not named Morton last year on the offensive line. PFF wasn't wrong about our offensive line. It's Morton and a bunch of dudes.
  15. You can't just run stretch plays to make up for the offensive line's lack of push. They'll just blitz the C gap and tackle us in the backfield.
  16. Loving Marshall. Love finally scoring. Get the ball back and show it to me again.
