Ok, it seems crazy but he should be going high. (Not "10s of millions apart" high though. If that part is true they have discovered the greatest weed known to man.) As someone who deals with similar contrats to get paid (wording, not amounts... not even close.) & as someone who ignorantly dove at the opening offer on my first big boy contract, ANYONE, getting paid by a negotiated contract should get all they can.
