Yes, in America. Does it seem alarming? Depends on what else hits us. Hurricane Season is going to be lit this season. I trust NC, where I live. I trust my County where I live. 191 Covid Cases, 104 recovered. 76 at Home, 6 Deaths, and 5 hospitalized. Where I live, it is minimal.

1,000 people die a day.. where? Not in NC, Not in Florida, not in GA. If you think about it though, 50 States divided by 1,000 is 20 deaths a day. 7,500 people die per day in America. Without COVID.

Locking down is a political issue. When Public Health says to lock down, they are wanting you to do it voluntarily, proper hygiene, and social distance. They are NOT wanting you to shut down the country, leave an unfair system of what is open and not open, and force you shut down. That is the difference.

Umm. that is National Guard helping in a humanitarian way. That is not National Guard patrolling the streets, locking down neighborhoods. Why don't you look it up, about moving back slowly yourself. Failures? The World is learning about the Virus. Quit making this Pandemic a political pawn. We know you hate the Administration, it is not a secret. However, many EM Managers and Public Health experts, are not victim blaming, and not policy blaming. They are trying to find the right balance of being safe during a pandemic, and returning to normal. They are not pointing fingers, saying we should lock down the country until fall, to instill Draconian measures, and to bring in the National Guard to make sure people don't leave the house. There is many Doctors and scientist out there, that are not making this a political issue, and that is the way it should be.

Dr. Fauci is one, for instance. He has stated, that once we return to normalcy, the Virus will not just disappear. He also said, what our 'Normal' was, will not be. That is different than him saying shut the whole country down. It all comes down to how they are wording normal, and how people are interpreting it. This is just like a 9/11, afterwards, America changed, we will just have to change. Should we social distance, sure, wash our hands sure... but not as long as they are predicting.

There is also some that say taking aggressive measures is over with, to slowly move back to normalcy. You also know how medicine and science works, it is an experiment. It is why the call it Medical Practice, we are practicing medicine. Btw, why do you always think is is "Trump Supporters" who are the only ones who are pushing the States to be open? From my personal experience, it is not just "Red States" or "Trump Supporters" who want to re-open.

I never said they Chose to get COVID, it was saying that people already know the risk. They moved on. They still build, in same location, after a disaster. When the Flu was discovered, they eventually moved on. Flu was Discovered in 1918, Vaccine wasn't approved until 1946. Of Course, in 1918, lots of people died, do you think they social distance until 1946? No, they closed schools and social distanced, like we are doing. However, they moved on eventually. Do you not think with our technology and medical advancements and hygiene, that we drastically reduced the infection rate already? I believe so.

The Virus basically solidifies your lungs, and blocks your airways. However, I also now the ramifications of the country being shut down. People build houses on the beach, when Hurricanes can destroy their homes. It is the same with the Virus.

When did this Virus turn to fear? The Flu still exist, many people, still... do not take the Vaccine. Yet, people are not social distancing from it. HIV exist, yet people are not social distancing, just taking precautions. Many Virus exist, that we live with everyday. Why is this one so different? Sure, it is going to kill people, that is what a Virus does. Lets move on with our lives.

This is true. It was honestly just perfect timing. Washer quit early March, Dryer quit early April. Friend started Business 2 weeks ago, in fear of his main job letting him go. My mower crapped out on me last week. Also got maintenance on cars (Tires, Oil Change, etc). I got house work done, things fixed. I wanted to bank it, keep it for a rainy day. If we get another, I am paying off some loans. I do try to spend it on the economy though.

I am working also. However, the Stimulus I got is gone. I got my house pressure washed ( Helped a friend start a new business). I got a new Washer and Dryer ( old ones crapped out on me) and I will be hopefully buying a lawnmower this weekend from a guy who lost his job 2 weeks ago, and fixes them up on the side.

I do not disagree with another stimulus check. However, the Government cannot sustain for months, bleeding out money for that long. The Government is not designed to support the whole country. I also think that throwing money into a problem, is just kicking the can down the road, and not really solving it.

I am wanting to know, if there is 23.5 Million unemployed, if 1% of them died to to homelessness, depression from losing home, lifestyle etc. Would that not be more deaths than the Coronavirus?

I find that school indoctrinated us with the assigned seating. We all hate it in school, only because we didn't get to chose the spot. In classrooms, meetings, events, most people sit in the same spot they started in, sometimes they change, but most of the time they sit in same spot.

OMG, finally someone gets it. We have to learn to live with this Virus, there is no way around it.
