  1. We're trading up for Brock Bowers
  2. Adonai Mitchell Keon Coleman Ladd McKonkey Xavier Legette Those are the guys I feel are worthy of being picked around the 20s-40s range.
  3. Johnson, Isn’t he on the last year of his contract? If he has a good year, he’ll demand a big contract and who’s to say he’ll want to re-sign here? If he has a bad year, everyone will want to not keep him. Having Thielen definitely should not keep the Panthers from drafting receivers. And Mingo, yeah there’s still time with him but this draft is so deep at WR, if you have the chance to get 2 starting WR on cheap contracts for 4 years, why not. Like I said, i’d double dip but obviously have a bunch of holes so it’s not like I’d be mad if they go another direction. But with this draft being stacked at WR, and if they’re going BPA and a WR is at top of their board when it’s their turn to pick with both 2nd round picks, I see no problem in that. Those players give you true WR1 potential, what we have currently is WR2 at best
  4. I’d double dip at WR, easily.
  5. I agree with whole point about the 25-40 range but you can’t forget how valuable that 5th year option is. Plus, the whole fact that you never know, that 1st pick could be an early 1st pick if it all goes wrong for the other team Also, only way someone offers a first rounder is if one of the projected first round QBs that a team is in love with, drops to 33rd. You never know.
  6. Before the regular season? Nothing can happen during the offseason that'll excite me. If Bryce lights it up during the preseason, then yeah I'll be excited.
  7. That’s it, why even watch the upcoming season. grrrrrrrrrrrr
  8. I didn’t hear anything about Abada but idk, I could’ve missed it. As for what went wrong, silly passes and giving the ball away easily. Toronto never really threatened in the first half but still pushed our half at times and Charlotte kept clearing the ball at times when there were opportunities to slow it down and play off it, leadings to Toronto having a lot of possession percentage. More of the same in the second half but even more and you know at some point Toronto was going to take advantage of that. They did, created more opportunities. Copetti again missing goal opportunities, one on one against the goalie, let’s it get saved. Defense still played great though. The one goal from Insigne was crazy.
  9. True, he’s definitely not better than Copetti but at some point you have to try someone new if Copetti is going to keep missing those opportunities.
  10. didn’t we beat them last year? but yeah Copetti not converting on easy chances is becoming a regular thing and Dean Smith subbing him out tells a lot. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Agyemang start next game.
  11. Around what many believed Brown should get. We’ll for sure extend Brown.
  12. Leading the charge with 5 picks each, 49ers and Rams. Panthers? 0 https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfl-draft-nfl-awards-34-compensatory-picks-to-14-teams
  13. fug it, do it for Burns and the 33rd. If we’re gonna suck still, let’s suck while we hit the griddy.
  14. i’m ready to hear our coach talk about biting foreskins off
  15. True. People can be pessimistic about the hire all they want and can have so many reasons to hate it but the “1 year experience” reason means nothing. We’ll see what happens. Hoping for the best.
  16. Bring that Kyle Lowry ass to Charlotte.
  17. Well according to Ian Rappoport, it was stated in Mayo’s contract that he signed last year that would’ve been designated as the next head coach whenever Belichick left. So no surprises to anyone there.
  18. We’re tagging him in hopes for a trade. Unfortunately, there’s no way we get a first rounder for him anymore. Panthers hands are tied in this situation. I believe Panthers will want a high second round pick and later round pick this year. Team on the other end will be hesitant to even give a high second rounder for him since he’s on a 1 year deal. So I believe 1 of 2 things happen: If Burns chooses to remain on franchise tag even after he gets traded, he gets traded to a good team with a high 3rd pick this year (Lions, who own the Vikings pick) and a 3rd the next draft. Lions receive: Brian Burns Panthers receive: 73rd overall pick 2025 3rd-round pick OR Team B (maybe like the Rams) have a contract in place for Burns and Burns commits to that if a trade is completed and this is the trade: Rams receive: Brian Burns Panthers receive: 53rd overall pick 2024 2nd-round pick …now you can say “fug that, not doing a trade unless we get a first rounder back, we’ll just let him walk”. But cmon, in that scenario, you’re getting a late 3rd rounder and that’s IF you don’t make any major signings in free agency to cancel out the comp pick. I’d love a first rounder but yeah I don’t think that’s possible anymore. Those 2 options are the best and most likely only options.
  19. Yeah he’s done as a HC. But hey…weirder and dumber stuff has happened in the NFL.
