I can not for the life of me understand how someone can be his size, that athletic, and known for great hands and technique is not projected higher.

This. I can not see Fisher lasting past the 1st round. There are only a handful of true LT prospects and he is one of them. On top of that, he probably has the best hands & technique of them all to go along with being the most athletic.

Fisher is the guy I want the most out of the first two rounds (realistically). He has a good chance of being a great LT for a long time in the league. I have no clue why he is being overlooked.

No one should be shocked if he comes off the board in the middle of the 1st round.

How many WR's are his size, that explosive, that fluid and catch with their hands? Answer those questions and it should be easy to see how he will without question be drafted in the first round.

Ron just needs to brow a ball sack and a killer mentality as well as getting a good OC in here. If he did those 3 things he would be a really good coach.

This. Every player is given a number or put into a tier. When you have guys of similar number value or in the same tier need will generally win out. BPA and need are intertwined.

This signing is at best meh. Oher is simply not a good OT. He has been terrible the past couple of seasons. Right now you should only expect him to he vet depth with the POTENTIAL to be a decent stop gap. It comes down to the money. Two years at 8 mil seems too much for a guy that has played as poorly as Oher has.

Humphries also showed the same fluidity and foot speed on tape. People just never really got around to examining him with all the other more known OT's declaring.

Like I said, cant really have BPA, you can only have tiers, unless there is no other player in that same tier left on the board (usually not the case). Drafting is pretty MUCH always a combination of talent, skill, potential, need, and organizational fit.

BPA is highly subjective and hardly ever right. Every draft GM's THINK x player is the BPA and that proves to be false. Additionally, do you honestly think if a QB or MLB was the BPA at our pick in the 1st we would draft him? Put down the pipe if you say yes. As I have said in the past, the best GM's can do is group players into PROJECTED tiers. ie ALL PRO PLAYER QUALITY CAREER STARTER DECENT STARTER CAREER BACKUP etc etc. If you got two guys in the same ALL PRO tier potentially, you are gonna pick the one that fits your needs.

DJ moves WAY better than Morgan. Many thought Morgan would be better suited for the right side. Its the opposite for DJ.
