4 Things Greg Hardy Must Do to Remain a Panther
the butch replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Give 12 million dollars back? Did Voth mean that literally? Iceberg's chance in hell of that happening. -
Goal line package. Physics cannot prevent Cam at 6'5" 255 from scoring there. That said, go with Stew first.

You can tell all the years of pounding and keeping the faith came out as soon as he started to speak. Most people outside Carolina don't know how valuable TD has been, and what a great career (and still going) he has had up to this point. Until now, he really didn't have much to show for it. But once he started talking you could tell it all the emotion he held back over the years from being passed over came out. Well done, TD. Well done.

Richard Sherman may leave before the Superbowl is over
the butch replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
She obviously wants him to be at the hospital, but understands the epic responsibility of playing in the SB. Kinda like a, "eh, I can't blame him." It's not like he is a deadbeat dad. There is a HUGE mitigating factor at play here. -
How long is this program? 30 minutes a day for 30 days? I have about a month to go in my current training block, and looking to switch it up and get back into cardio for a short period afterwards. Would Max30 fit the bill?

I go with the arms folded style because I have wrist problems. You're focusing on so much with compound moves like that, maybe trying with your arms folded will help get you back comfortable with front squats again and then you can switch back? Either way, front squats, while you can't go as heavy as back squats, incorporates so much more muscle and requires more focus and control. Plus there are always lifts to isolate the glutes, hamstrings, and quads if the goal is to just get bigger in those areas.

^ This 1000%. You don't have to touch your knees to your chest, but at least control the weight up and down. There are also those people that drop it fast and use the "bounce" to help push it back up. Heavy weight doesn't get you gains. Just max your muscles out with proper form. Not saying you're doing the above, but since toldozer hit on the subject, thought I would vent.

Bad diet as of late. Been drinking too much, really. Trying to cut my body fat down to below 10%, and I'm making it harder on myself with my crappy diet. Need to refocus. Leg day today was successful, though. Switched it up and went with a higher rep, faster pace routine today. Kicked my ass.

^ Kind like shin splints but in your forearms? Maybe just make sure to get a real good stretch and ice down.

Like can't lift weights? Can't run? Idk your particular circumstance, but the row machine, elliptical, or get into a boxing gym somewhere (no kicking obviously). Stick with high reps on upper body stuff so you don't look like the guy who skips leg day. Get better

Been waddling around today post-leg day on Monday. Maybe went too hard. Did some front-back lunges, front squats, stiff leg DLs, split squats, side squats, sumo squats, and finished w some calves and abs.

That's actually a head executive of Boss. Watched a short video of the photo shoot. Took a lot of tries to get that shot. Pretty epic.

Damn. That's some scary poo. Maybe give your body a rest and take a week off? Take a vacation? Could be just stress, too. Get well soon!

I would probably have trouble bulking my legs up doing that--genetics gave me chicken legs. I do need something else to do on light leg day, though. I foresee box jumps in my future.

Anybody have a good leg routine they did that worked well for them. I've made strides with my front squats, but my leg day is starting to get old, and I'm not feeling the burn like I used to. I probably need to be eating more for sure, because I haven't seen a decent gain in about 2 weeks.

Stayed on track during a God awful wedding weekend in Louisiana. Got a free trial to Anytime Fitness using the hotel's address. The gym sucked. Chest day was about 75% successful; just had trouble orienting myself. Their dumbbells were loose and wobbly, too, and wouldn't screw tighter. Kinda scary when you have to pick it up above your face.

We are starting to get a few early Resolutioners, too. I don't mind. I have the utmost respect for those people that are actually making SOME kind of effort to stay healthy. Most use the treadmills, so it's not that big of a problem. And the ones using the free weights and machines are usually OCD about gym etiquette. As for calves, I've been training them hard, and seeing decent results. Like any muscle, you can make gains. It's just stubborn, and doesn't grow like, say, your biceps. As for body type and genetics, well, the same can be said for any part of the body, e.g., Cam vs. Foles.

If you don't mind me asking, what weight did you use for the hammer curls? Did you feel a good burn afterwards? I ask because I'm looking to up my reps on all upper body so I don't get too big in contrast with my lower half. 120 hammer curls seems excessive, though. Did you decrease the weight at any point?
