Even if Tepper follows through, bad move because by the time he can tell Rhule has failed to secure an OC that lives up to those expectations. It will be too late to fire Rhule because the best HC candidates will have found jobs. just fire him now and go after a new HC. If the new doesn’t work out, fire his ass too! Repeat until you get it right.

After this year and last year as a Panther fan, we should realize the importance of building an adequate OL capable of protecting the WB before we invest heavy draft or FA capital in a long term QB prospect.

Mmmmm. Sounds like the coaching skill set that Rhule promoted himself to Tepper as being.

I never drooled over Rhule at all. I was never crazy about the choice but I gave him a chance to show me what he could do, and in the last 33 regular season games, he has. He sucks on just about every level of NFL coaching metrics that exist.

And that’s why we’re where we are today, at home and making excuses. Direct result of an Incompetent HC and it trickles down from there.

Let this sink in. In Rhules post game press conference, he was ask about the decision to leave Sam in and have him QB sneak on the goal line 4th and inches play. He said both guys can do it. He said if it was a 1 yard play, Cam would have been the call but it was just inches so he assumed Sam could get the push. And Sam did, but as usual nobody saw Sams success but Rhule. Think about his reasoning: if the play required a full yard, Cam is the guy to get it done. So, if only inches are required on a critical play wouldn’t you put Cam in the game just to make sure of success. Or, do you make a selfish point (example; Pete Carrol / Marshawn Lynch) and give your personal favorite player an opportunity for glory? Total failure. Matt Rhule is full of poo! He can never say “I make decisions that are in the best interest of the TEAM”
