Beating the Saints cost us 1 draft slot after all
Panthers8969 replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
And yet saints fans are happy about it? That doesn’t seem like the reaction of an embarrassed fan base -
Lose when it matters, win when it doesn’t

Weird everyone pied this post yet you all wanted to win today? How does that make any sense at all? You chose a harder schedule next year + worse draft position this year. Mind boggling -

You’re not allowed to say this! And don’t bring up jets fumbling away tlaw! The moral victories matter far more than any franchise qb! -

This season felt GOOD TO YOU?!?!? I’m honestly ducking astounded, flabbergasted. Holy fug I cannot with this fanbase. Only fanbase in the league happy with sub 500 seasons year after fuging year. fug me -
Do we? If I’m Chicago I prefer to trade down with colts and still get a premier talent. Imo there’s 2 above average prospects: young and stroud. I’m ok with Levi’s but he’s not a Josh Allen clone like everyone wants to believe. Outside of those 3 I would trade out of the first round completely and stock up on picks for Caleb Williams
-
This fanbase would say that’s a great thing and more valuable than the first overall pick is the winning culture they now have. what a joke
-
This dude needs Atleast one year and I’d bet he never catches on. You can find crazy athleticism every year. Only talking about this guy bc we just played ourselves out of stroud/ Levi’s

If you want to get the #1 pick from the Bears, what's your move?
Panthers8969 replied to EgoDogg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh, and we likely lose said bidding war bc we won this week. But I’m sure that momentum we gained will be worth it! I can’t remember ever giving a damn about a meaningless week17/18 win but I can for sure remember lasting draft effects. Bring on the poo emojis tho I know this fanbase hates draft picks -

With all so respect that was one of the worst drafts in recent memory to hold the top pick. Top end talent wasn’t there (I thought sauce should go first ovr personally). A draft class featuring Atleast 2 top 5 qbs and a plethora of teams in the league needing a qb = a massive bidding war. -
Panthers' situation aside, who are your favorite overall prospects?

Mohammed imbrahim - late round rb that is old but a ducking dog -
This. Most grown men can pick up a 200lb man or whatever he weighs. Not impressive lol. Not to say he’s not absurdly strong, this just isn’t an impressive feat by any means

Shouldn’t we change this Forums name to just NFL Draft?
Panthers8969 replied to Shocker's topic in 2023 NFL Draft
Mods hate this sub forum. All the draft stuff basically just goes on the main forum. No reason to bifurcate it in the first place -
We pretty much have to take a RB on day 2 in the draft, right?

Hmm? Your OP said teams that pay rbs can’t win a SBin the modern era. Was this mean to be exclusively about us or any team? Could we win a sb with cmc? Obviously not anytime soon. We very well could have in 2017 with some better FO moves. Rams signed Andrew whitworth we signed Matt kalil. We drafted KB over devonte Adams. No KB and cam never originally hurts his shoulder. Etc etc. There’s a lot more material decisions that hurt this team than Omg we paid a rb 16m a year (Robby Anderson money for those of you keeping track at home)! Dude isn’t even your standard rb. Much more valuable. I have no qualms with that contract. I’m sure that’s what killed this team. Not the moronic power craved college HC, 60m wasted on backup qbs + draft picks. Noooo, none of that. It was paying an elite offensive weapon. Great thesis
-
You better let the 9ers know. 0% chance they win anything now
-
Told y’all this signing sucked. So dumb extended someone after one good year where the qb didn’t look DJMs way for half the season
-
I’m not talking about likelihood. I literally said in my post it was easier said than done. What am saying is that you’re underestimating the impact of 1) a nfl level head coach (not college wannabe) and 2) a good qb. If by some miracle we hit on one or even both of these this off-season the team will be dramatically improved. Frankly, not even sure what this topic is. “Woe is me the panthers are cursed.” You sound moronic. Go carry madam zeroni up a mountain then if we’re so cursed
-
Disagree. We’re a qb and HC hit away from competing. Hardest positions to find good talent at but the rest of this roster could easy get us to a wildcard with good coaching
-
Just gave him a large undeserved contract so
