  1. Would I trade down from 1.08 to 1.25 for 2 seconds??? And I have to give up a 4th? Hell no I’m not doing that. I would expect a future first and 1 of those seconds at the least, and I’m certainly not throwing in a 4th
  2. Well he didn’t. He’s not the guy to turn his back on his team. He’s the guy who will play with half a shoulder and foot and brush off a car crash. That’s the type of player I want. Look at fields in the CFP. Dude likes broke some ribs and rushes back out there for his team. That’s the guy I want. Not Watson. The team didnt piss him off, the fans didnt piss him off, so why are the teams and the fans getting fked over?
  3. I didn’t realize Andre Johnson (thanks for letting me know who he is, never heard of him) currently plays for the Texans. I’d prefer to not trade a poo ton of assets for a guy who will turn his back on his CURRENT teammates who are counting on him. He’s got a problem with the owner? The dude sounds like a douche, I’d imagine all the players have a problem with the owner if Watson does. Why isn’t the whole team demanding a trade? Instead, the captain is abandoning his ship. I’m sure a lot of guys play for the money and that’s fine. But if I’m trading 3+ firsts for a guy he better damn well be in it for his teammates. Watson clearly isn’t that guy. I can post what Nelson agalhor said about the raiders locker room if you haven’t already seen it. That’s applicable here. Thank God Cam didnt wake up one morning and decide that he was pissed we cut Smitty and JR was an ass so he was demanding a trade. That’s all I know
  4. Didnt realize we found an entire OL and secondary lol
  5. Exactly why I don’t want this guy. This team isn’t a qb away. We saw how the team failed to support cam and how frustrating that was, so now the plan is to get back in that situation, with a much worse D to boot? Draft Wilson/ lance/ fields and hope they pan out. If the do, we are very, very well positioned to compete in 2022. If we land Watson and forfeit the picks and $ it takes to land him, we will have to get insanely lucky in the later rounds of the draft. If your plan is for fitterrer to find his next Sherman in the 5th I’d argue that’s unlikely. Oh, also, what’s stopping Watson from disliking tepper and demanding a trade from us?
  6. so bc rhule isnt just going threw the motions with these guys and is actually trying to prep them for the league, hes in ass? Sounds like the other has never been pushed by anyone in his life to be better than he currently is and that's why hes a trash writer
  7. if im watson I'd want to go back home on my couch bc i clearly don't want to be a teamate in a team sport where my teammates depend on me to not wake up and decide to demand a trade. Dude shouldve taken up boxing or tennis or some other 1v1 sport
  8. Dude transferred to Georgia where we wouldve almost certainly improved as a qb then decides to opt out. So dumb, likely costs him millions
  9. Someone in the officiating crew has got to be fired. Cannot tell refs it’s ok to rig games
  10. will draft posts on the main forum actually get moved here or will the main page still be flooded with mocks etc?
  11. Fitterrer mentions how having Wilson on a rookie contract set up their SB runs...
  12. Lol yeah, I also “wouldn’t mind him at 8”
  13. Honestly what the fug did they see in this dude that made them offer him a contract. So fuging dumb. Goes to strip clubs after losses and plays like poo. Dude cost us the 3rd pick
  14. How about just the one that’s available at 1.08? I’d also say the odds are irrelevant in a what if scenario. The point was just that we have a mystery box at 1.08. We could trade a bunch of mystery boxes for a proven player with a large contract or we could just open the mystery box. It’s tough for anyone to assign odds to the likelihood a pick pans out, your best bet would probably be historical data, but past players’ performances are completely independent from future/ players’ performances. Really impossible to assign odds to any one player. My point here though, is that not trading away a poo ton of assets for Watson and hitting on a rookie qb in the draft has a much higher reward (and more risk, but you have to risk it to get the biscuit).
  15. Stafford likely costs a late first. A team like the saints/ Steelers would be willing to trade for him. The Age and injury history make him less valuable, but the talent is certainly there
  16. Imagine how pissed this place will be when we pass on one of Wilson/ fields/ lance for DW, losing 3 firsts + and then all those guys end up being top 10 qbs at a fraction of the cost
  17. This. Why I’d prefer to draft a qb this year. Gels much better with the teams structure
  18. Yeah I should’ve clarified who I was talking about since I just mentioned the OL group. Totally see how you thought that
  19. Oh, lol. Thanks for clearing that up. ive never heard of Robert jones, but just checked the draft networks big board with 400+ players and he’s not even listed on there, so assuming he’s not very good
  20. https://twitter.com/jimnagy_sb/status/1351624779166588929?s=21
  21. Got super lucky with the OT group. I don’t want Jones but good Rhule has a close up look at him. He’d know better than I
  22. Watson, who went 10th after having an amazing year and winning the natty. You can get great qb prospects in the 5-10 range too
