To be fair that was the best game of Donald's career

YAC isn't just a receiver making a corner back miss or breaking a tackle. Good Qb play and ball placement also effect YAC. You hit a receiver on a slant in stride as oppose to him having to adjust to make the catch that affects YAC. You could put alot of the 2nd half of that season on teams figuring out Rhule and Brady's scheme and them being unable to adjust. Bridgewater spoke up about their coaching or lack of which is why he got shipped out in the first place.

Smae start, same 0-2 record. Not sure what's going on with Cincinnati this season they haven't looked good.

Teddy B was actually in the top half of average yards per play in his season with the Panthers. The whole dink and dunk narrative about him was vastly overblown from disgruntled fans still upset about the Cam saga.

This doesn't help Brian Burns contract talks
Pantherxtreme replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Burns is going to make yall eat your words this season, he's been a force every game so far. Both Luvu and Brown have been beneficiaries of sacks due to the havoc Burns caused. It would be a complete failure of this FO if we can't get a long term deal done. -
How does a team "tank"? They traded McCaffrey mid-season that wasn't a winning move. Do you tell a guy like Foreman on a 1 year deal not to ball out and try earn himself another contract? Do you sit DJ Moore down for several weeks? In 2010 the Panthers didn't tank For Newton, Clausen just wasn't a good.

Quit gaslighting, Nowhere did I mention Andy Dalton was the new Tom Brady or the future of the franchise. I simply stated if he goes out there and produces we might not see Bryce for awhile; you might not like it, but that's the reality, it's a results driven league, and people careers are on the line, winning is what matters not trying to develop a rookie Qb.
-
This is a fan take. It's not the way professionals in competitor sports getting paid millions of dollars to produce think. No GM or Head Coach in the league values "rookie development" over wins. That's what training camp and preseason is for. If Young gives us the best chance to win he's going to take the field, if some how Dalton lights it up and the offense looks night and day from the previous two weeks, you're going to see more Dalton going forward bottomline. Mahomes sat and watched his rookie season that didn't seem to slow down his development.

Looks like we will find out Sunday, oh wee mayn!!

I just want to see if the receivers are as bad as I've heard.
-
As long as the Panthers can win on the road in Seattle and avoid going 0-3 I could careless who is taking the snaps.
-
I don't get that. I'm just a fan who wants to win, if it's Dalton if it's Bryce just get the W.

Hill I pressed me in the preseason. And when he came in for Shaq Monday night I continued to be impressed. Shaq has been a great player for us over the years. But I think we are fine with our depth at Lb with Hill and Jones.

It's all perspective
-
I think the overreactions to the overreactions are just as annoying. People can discuss the product they're seeing on the field and the way the front office has handled things without being a hater.
-
I've seen far more nuance discussions going on than just "bRyce sux" Have you seen what's been said about the receiving core and the runningbacks?
-
Yea alot these guys are some sensitive Nancy's but they dont any problem calling our receivers, bums, scrubs, and anything else can think of. Nobody is attacking Byrce or has given up on him developing. Some people simply think that trade was wild to begin with, and now faced with how the offense has been looked the last two weeks, are starting to revisit some questions that were already there. Hopefully this week in Seattke we can see some improvement offensively it sucks watching games knowing the defense is going to have to nearly pitch a shutout for us to have a chance.

A Video a lot of us need to Watch
Pantherxtreme replied to SaltAndPepper's topic in Carolina Panthers
Evidence suggest our rookie Qb threw 2 gimme picks that set them up in scoring position. But like you said it's only 2 games in a 17 game season alot can happen from here. -
Marty Hurney, Dave Gettleman, Scott Fitterer
Pantherxtreme replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hurney: Hit home runs in the 1st rounds Low batting percentage in the following rounds. Created poor depth, hated his conservative bargain bin Free agency strategy. Gettleman: Egomaniac Hit and miss in the 1st round Strange double and triple down strategy in the draft for same position. Refusal to pay talented vets, roster yo yo effect. Poor morale. Fittier: Like his aggressive style. Net results haven't panned out yet. Too liberal with giving up draft picks Too early on draft selections
