  1. Taking Gibson in the 4th? That's way too early. He should be there in the 6th or even the 7th.
  2. Round 1 - Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA Hardy Gone, Addison/Alexander/Horton all average at best DE's. Johnson will probably retire soon, need to grab a DE for his replacement. Plus, I believe Owamagbe will be the BPA at #25. Round 2 - Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson Beast of a DT, Cole and Edwards most likely done after this season. Need someone to replace one of them, probably grab another DT through FA next off season. Round 3 - Cedric Ogbuehi, OT, Texas A&M Could have been a top 10 pick without his injury. We scoop him up in third. Most likely will be on the two deep behind Oher for much of next season. Has potential to be our starter going into the 2016 season. Round 4 - Darren Waller, WR, Georgia Tech One of the most underrated receivers in the draft. Doesn't have the numbers because he played for GT, whom we all know is a triple option team. He's 6'6 240 and runs a 4.46. Excellent blocker as well, as he needs to be for their run heavy offense. Round 5 - Javorius Allen, RB, USC Round 5 (Comp) - Jake Ryan, OLB, Michigan Round 5 (Comp) - Clayton Geathers, SS, UCF Round 6 - Damian Swann, CB, Georgia Round 7 - Laurence Gibson, OT, Virginia Tech Project 2015 Depth Chart: QB: Cam Newton - Derek Anderson RB: Jonathan Stewart - Javorius Allen - Fozzy Whittaker FB: Mike Tolbert TE: Greg Olsen - Ed Dickson - Brandon Williams WR: Kelvin Benjamin - Darren Waller - Brenton Bersin WR: Jerricho Cotchery or FA - Ted Gin Jr - Philly Brown LT: Michael Oher - Cedric Ogbuehi LG: Andre Norwell - Garry Williams OC: Ryan Kalil - Brian Folkerts RG: Trai Turner - Chris Scott RT: Mike Remmers - Laurence Gibson DE: Charles Johnson - Wes Horton - Owamagbe Odighizuwa DT: Kawann Short - Colin Cole DT: Star Lotulelei - Dwan Edwards - Grady Jarrett DE: Kony Ealy - Mario Addison - Frank Alexander LB: AJ Klein - Adarius Glanton LB: Luke Kuechly - Ben Jacobs LB: Thomas Davis - Jake Ryan CB: Bene Benwikere - Damian Swann SS: Robert Lester - Trey Boston - Clayton Geathers FS: Kurt Coleman - Colin Jones CB: Josh Norman - Melvin White or FA Thoughts?
  3. Draft simulator is now updated with the Comp picks included.
  4. Now with the Comp picks out, they should be updating their database soon.
  5. Why do I get this feeling you start threads just to receive pie because you love to be praised upon? I swear, you could start a thread explaining your morning poo and people would give you pie.
  6. It's clear you're delusional. I'm done wasting my time with you. Have a great day.
  7. Lol, we beat a team that was playing like their 4th string QB and we still struggled with them. And the very next week we got embarrassed by the Seahawks. Nice try, though.
  8. Any Panther fan knows the only reason we got into the playoffs last season was because of the NFC South being down. We were the least deserving team in the playoffs.
  9. I can't remember the last time we signed a big name player.
  10. Sometimes, life is unfair knowing that someone like Bersin is getting a six figure salary to basically wave his hand in the air and catch a football, and even he finds a way to screw that up.
  11. Round 1 - DJ Humphries, OT, Florida Round 2 - Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi St Round 3 - Doran Grant, CB, Ohio St
  12. Round 1 Pick 25: D.J. Humphries, OT, Florida (A-) Round 2 Pick 25: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma (A) Round 3 Pick 25: Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson (A-) Round 4 Pick 25: Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State (A-) Round 5 Pick 25: Byron Jones, CB, Connecticut (A) Round 6 Pick 25: Anthony Jefferson, SS, UCLA (A-) Round 7 Pick 25: Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi St. (A)
  13. They need to update. Devin Smith is still listed as a day 3 guy and that isn't going to happen. They're probably waiting until the Comp picks are released.
  14. Tough call, really. But I honestly think we should take an OT in the first. The OL has been decent these past few weeks, but it still could be better. I would love to grab the guy from LSU, even the guy from Pittsburgh, but if either of those guys are not there, then I guess we should grab a DE or WR. Has anyone heard the idea of cutting Johnson and resigning Hardy?
  15. Your score is: 4969 (GRADE: A-) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 21: La'el Collins, OT, LSU (A) Round 2 Pick 21: Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia (A) Round 3 Pick 21: Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina (A) Round 4 Pick 21: Jordan Richards, SS, Stanford (A) Round 5 Pick 21: Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State (B+) Round 6 Pick 21: Brandon Ivory, DT, Alabama (A) Round 7 Pick 21: Thurston Armbrister, OLB, Miami (Fla.) (B+)
  16. Updated draft with us picking at #21. HUGE drop off of talent at OT. Probably need to pick up a guy in FA. Round 1 Pick 21: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma ( Round 2 Pick 21: Alvin Dupree, DE, Kentucky (A) Round 3 Pick 21: Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina (A) Round 4 Pick 21: Josh Shaw, CB, Southern California (B+) Round 5 Pick 21: Ibraheim Campbell, SS, Northwestern (B+) Round 6 Pick 21: Jamon Brown, OT, Louisville (B-) Round 7 Pick 21: Desmond Hollin, DT, Florida State (B+)
  17. Seriously, you don't want any part of Robinson. As a Gamecock fan, I can fully say he's TERRIBLE.
  18. DE will be almost as important as OT this off season. We all know Hardy is gone and CJ is getting old and cutting him would save 6 million. If that's the case, we would be down to three DE's. All of which are average at best. Probably need to draft one and then pick up another one in the free agency. Mario Edwards or Preston Smith are my top choices.
  19. My mock with us trading our first round pick. Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 21 (S.D.): La'el Collins, OT, LSU (B+) Round 2 Pick 7: Mario Edwards, DE, Florida State (B+) Round 2 Pick 21 (S.D.): Hauoli Kikaha, DE, Washington (C+) Round 3 Pick 7: Gabe Wright, DT, Auburn (A) Round 3 Pick 21 (S.D.): Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn (A) Round 4 Pick 7: Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan State (A) Round 5 Pick 7: Kyshoen Jarrett, SS, Virginia Tech (B+) Round 6 Pick 7: Damian Swann, CB, Georgia ( Round 7 Pick 7: Stephone Anthony, ILB, Clemson © A few notes. I went heavy on the defense early. When we went 12-4 in 2013 it was because our defense was beast. We need to get back to that. Kikaha won't play DE, he's an OLB. Also, Ben Jacobs isn't very good at ILB. It's time for us to give Luke someone worthy to back him up. Other than that, I hit every area of need.
  20. You're right. Everyone knows that every 1st round pick is never a bust.
  21. I think we should trade our first round pick. It's clear that GM wants to build this team as cheap as possible, which means we need to go heavy in the draft. This year's draft seems to be deep in the early rounds, but after about the 4th round, the talent level drops off a bit. Trading our first round pick could be beneficial. Plus, we should be given some compensatory picks this year as well.
