  1. You see it all around you Good football gone bad And usually it's too late when you Realize what you had
  2. Joke all you want, but don't forget that big Tep is responsible for bringing music to Charlotte.
  3. Watching a movie franchise you once loved that has fifty eleven horrible sequels. You watch with hope that one of them will live up to the glory days, but you walk away having wasted your money and your time and getting nothing but disappointment in return.
  4. Ugh. Best wishes for Freddie - but this is horrible news for the team. It really sucks that Pyotr's game has taken such a step back. It was so much fun watching him during his streak last November but he's been so streaky since then.
  5. This is exactly how I feel. I'm old enough to have been a fan since the franchise started, but I don't remember feeling this hopeless. Choosing the wrong QB is bad, but we've done it and eventually moved past it. This time, we sold the proverbial farm to pick a guy with massive question marks who appears to be the wrong guy. The 2024 draft class is loaded with QB prospects, so of course the Panthers would mortgage the future to trade up in a weaker class and take a guy who would be an outlier if he is successful.
  6. I doubt anyone unless you count player moves - like the practice squad dude on ST who was offsides during the Colts first TD drive. What should happen IMHO (aside from Tepper selling which would be awesome) is admitting that this front office and "all-star" staff doesn't work and cleaning house top to bottom. They should fire Fitty twice because he's that incompetent of a GM.
  7. The OP is getting pood on because he said that Bryce is clearly bad and wasn't worthy of a number one pick but the owners and front office are incompetent so ultimately they're to blame. Seems like a logical take to me.
  8. Speaking of doing nothing, does anyone remember when Seifert signed Chuck Smith? $21M contract and 1 tackle if I remember correctly. I still wonder if the whole thing was an inside job by the fuggin Falcons.
  9. 100% Poles was licking his chops. Fitt is the only GM that makes Poles seem competent. ”Hey guys, wanna see me take Bobby Hill Jr’s purse again? Watch this.”
  10. I agree he'll be ok once we get a few more pieces - most importantly this guy...
  11. I'm sure if anyone over there tried writing an honest headline Darin Gantt would send them a snarky email
  12. Addition by subtraction. Sanders is straight cheeks.
  13. Nah - being a Panthers fan is painful enough that 0-17 with no 1st round pick just feels excessively cruel. I'm not a fan of the front office (Dan Morgan excluded) but does anyone really think 0-17 would teach David Tepper a lesson? I think he'd just make more bad decisions and we'd see Chicago draft a generational talent with a pick that should've stayed here.
  14. Sticking with @NAS request to only list 1 and focusing on things that happened post-Rhule: 1. Signing Miles Sanders. D'onta Foreman and Chuba demonstrated our ability to establish a great run game without paying a premium, which aligns with the trend around the league. I thought that getting rid of CMCs contract would give the team flexibility to sign more quality players across the roster instead of investing money at the RB position. Instead, Fitty signs Sanders, who benefited from a mobile QB and great OL in Philly, to a 4-year deal at $6.35 per year (would be #8 average RB salary this year per https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/average/running-back/ ) with a dead cap hit of $11M. Sanders has been horrible, and his fumbles have changed momentum in the ATL and DET games.
  15. I think you make some great points Mr. Scot, but I disagree about Fitterer. Firing him won't really make the team better anytime soon, but he's been behind some atrocious decisions. The one thing that's tough to judge with Fitt is how much say he had when Rhule was the coach. IMHO he's shown enough since Rhule's been gone to demonstrate poor judgment. I agree that he brought in the guys who made the o-line solid under the McAdoo system, but before that he went out and brought in Cam Irving and Pat Elflein as his day one FA signings. Stuff like signing an injury prone Donte Jackson, bidding against himself to trade for Sam Darnold and doubling down with the fifth year option, turning down 2 first-round picks for Brian Burns only to not reach a contract extension, signing Miles Sanders after letting Donte Foreman walk... it goes on and on, not mention clueless statements about being able to plug BY in and win the NFC South.
  16. The funny thing is that I didn't even think what I said was that bad. Was honestly just trying to make what I thought was a harmless joke in the midst of another Sunday of Panthers agony. All good though.
  17. That didn't hurt my feelings, I was just paying you back for the poo you gave me. A poo for a poo if you will.
  18. They should cut Sanders immediately just to make a statement. Dude is awful.
  19. It was a joke based on the picture of her hugging Bryce at Alabama but you do you.
  20. We really traded the farm to draft an unathletic dwarf when the 24 draft is loaded with legit QB1 prospects. I am truly an idiot for supporting this team for the past 28 years.
  21. 2 people would be upset: 1. Nicole Tepper would be upset her bae is gone 2. Brian Burns' brother would be ripping Panthers' fans for not recognizing the 2nd coming of LT
  22. It was tempting to poo your post, not because I disagree, but because it would match the theme. IMHO, in the short term we see how much it helps when we plug Corbett back in the lineup. When that happens, I hope someone hides Zavala's helmet so we can move Throckmorten over to LG. I'd also kick the tires on La'el Collins to see if he could help.
  23. Late in the 4th quarter the cameras will cut over to a room where we see that the cast of Impractical Jokers has been secretly calling plays and running the front office since Tepper purchased the team.
  24. Some of the poo that Frank throws out at his pressers is Rhule-esque. I can't stop thinking about him saying in the preseason that our offense was vanilla because he was holding things back for the regular season. Calling this offense vanilla is an insult to vanilla.
