Shough was a designed runner on the play he got a call on and somehow got it. In fact, I'd pretty sure they were counting on getting a penalty because they wouldn't have had time to get lined up and snap.

Bryce hasn't had a ton of time today thanks to that long Saints drive, but this is the most consistent game of football I've seen him play.

What's obsessive is that he looks at a QB who is, objectively, performing worse by most meaningful metrics and is convinced he is playing better, solely because he has 8 more passing yards per game (despite a 2-4 record and a 1:1 turnover/TD ratio).

Shough is not playing well. In six games played he has seven turnovers, a 1:1 turnover/TD ratio, and a 2-4 record.

The fact you're having to rely on "rushing yards per game" (he is averaging 18, Bryce is averaging 10) here is really telling lmao. I already gave the clear advanced differences. Shough is playing worse than Bryce. You are literally gassing up a worse, 2-4 QB for a rival team and I find that incredibly funny.

He played most of another game and lost it. I didn’t count the game with 0 yards (because that would be ridiculous). If I did, his stats would be lower than Bryce.

Through 6 games this guy is 2-4, averaging 202 yards a game with 7 touchdowns and 7 turnovers. His AY/A (5.91) is worse than Bryce (6.31), as are his yards per completion (10.1 vs 10.2). He's worse than Bryce in basically every category except for yards (he's averaging 202, Bryce is averaging 195 this year) and completion percentage (65% vs 63%). Oh, and he's losing two-thirds of his games (2-4). You can't think Bryce is a bad QB and that Shough is good.

There's a ton of people in this thread that would rather we be 0-13 than in the playoffs and it shows.

Looks like Shough is likely going to finish this game 13/20 for 144 yards and one interception.

Tyler Shough looks absolutely terrible today.

For all those who were glazing Tyler Shough (1-3 through 4 starts) - his passing stats with 5 minutes left in the 3rd are: 8/12, 84 yards, 1 interception, 52.1 rating He has 45 yards on the ground and 1 touchdown.

Last week he threw a game-losing pick two after a garbage time comeback padded his stats. I wouldn't consider that "playing well".

A substantial portion of this fanbase would prefer we win 1 out of every 4 games (which Shough has done) if we threw for 220 yards a game rather than have a winning record and be in the playoff hunt
