  1. All it took was benching the obvious bust, that everyone with eyes could see was the problem. We're not tanking. Let's ride this as far as it goes.
  2. He has been coddled his entire life and he will probably be coddled through the inevitable QB salvage project that won't work.
  3. Is this the end of Thielen's career? Crud EDIT: Oh thank god he's moving
  4. Bryce could never. Look at the zip on that pass.
  5. I don't feel bad for Bryce at all, he should feel bad he's so bad he can tank a clearly competent offense all by himself.
  6. Hey our quarterback can actually throw passes now
  7. The Hall of Fame loves linemen for some reason
  8. RUMOR: TN05 "pissed" that Bryce Young hasn't thrown a touchdown in eight of the last nine games
  9. I also think part of it is saving face. Nobody wants to admit they completely misread a prospect - and most people clearly misread Bryce.

  11. "okay, but nothing special" would be a huge upgrade over "possibly the worst QB in NFL history". Bryce's peak value is right now. It will drop every week. He should be traded right now.
  12. One of the most noticeable shifts in this organization since Tepper took over is the shift from aggressive, downfield arial assaults to dink-and-dunk, west coast wanna be offenses. For context: both the Delhomme and Newton Panthers were known for a huge focus on the run game, but a heavily vertical passing plan. Both were genuine gunslingers unafraid to take risks and throw deep. Since Tepper took over, however, we've seen a slew of... bad dink and dunk QBs. Bridgewater and Young are the big examples. The only real "exciting" games under Tepper have come with gunslingers - Sam Darnold's early games, and also the first few games of Kyle Allen. I don't know if this was a top-down mandate or what. But enough of this west coast crap. Time to cut it loose. No more underneath routes on 3rd and 15, no more bubble screens, no more. Throw it deep. We've got a good running back corps; throwing deep will push defenders back, allowing a better run game. It's passing to set up the run. Let's get some excitement back in the game. I just want to see regular passes of more than 10 yards that aren't intercepted.
  13. I'm just hoping we can throw more than 10 yards downfield
  14. First 9 games of his career: 198/319 (62.1%), 1,683 passing yards (187 per game), 9 passing TDs, 8 INTs Last 9 games of his career: 148/264 (56.1%), 1,439 passing yards (160 per game), 2 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, 5 INTs But it's actually even worse than this. If you remove the Green Bay game - a statistical outlier - this is what you get: 125/228 (54.8%), 1,127 passing yards (141 per game), 0 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, 5 INTs That's right. In the last nine games, Bryce Young hasn't thrown a touchdown pass in eight of them. In fact, nearly 50% of Bryce's 11 touchdowns have come in two games: three against the Lions in week 5 (two of which were in garbage time), and two against the Packers in week 16. This is just unfathomably bad.
  15. It's clear Tepper is obsessed with the dink and dunk offense crap, which is probably why he hated the Wilks offense
  16. This is unacceptable. I don’t care if he throws 12 picks, you have to throw the ball downfield. This dunk and dunk crap accomplishes nothing.
  17. Everyone demanding to get out of an era where we made the playoffs 4 times in 5 seasons has to be one of the biggest monkey's paw moments in team history
  18. Bryce isn't just bad. He's so cosmically bad he renders the entire offense incapable of functioning, which has the knock-on of being unable to assess the defense. We'd be better off running wildcat
