  1. Saving his gas to the end. Rook had no way of seeing it coming
  2. Eh, I think he hates the fact people are pitying him and wanting him to quit on his teammates to go back to a team whose GM showed him the door and said he couldn't play anymore.
  3. What'd you expect him to say? Fvck my teammates, I want to go somewhere else?
  4. Dang, Falcons getting exposed early. Awesome!
  5. Deuce was a product of volume or carries as much as anything and flamed out quickly. Ricky was poo with New Orleans. Jamal had one good year, which was a product of getting 400+ carries. As a whole we've had better running backs than any other team in our division.
  6. I'd say that's better than any of the other teams in our division.
  7. 100 yards for DeAngelo on 14 carries. That's an average of 7.1 yards per carry with the longest run being only 28 yards. At least for this game, it seems like splitting carries for his entire career was an asset. Has a lot more left than most 32-year olds.
  8. Or the line sucked here and he couldn't do a whole lot. Maybe the system there fits him better.
  9. Clearly, this is to appease the football gods. You do not choose your nickname, your nickname chooses you. Their wrath was demonstrated on the football field as a warning of things to come if he did not repent and accept his nickname. My only wish is that this did not come too late to help him...
  10. No way Funchess is third-string behind Cotchery, Ginn, and Brown.
  11. Looking great so far. No reason not to tune in if you can.
  12. Too bad Greg Hardy won't be able to tell Matt Ryan to get the f*ck off our field when we beat them there.
  13. That's fair enough. I think Ryan definitely has a better line and receiving corp to fall back on. I'd say Ryan is really the third-best in the division. I don't think Drew Brees is as great as everyone says, but I'm not sure he's ever had a Pro Bowl receiver to fall back on. STRONGLY disagree. Remember 2013? The comeback victories against New England, San Francisco, Miami and New Orleans were as good as any we've ever had,. Cam has NO margin of error. We are 12-24-1 when he has an interception.
  14. I don't think anyone was saying Cam was better in 2011 or 2012, and the Falcons were making the playoffs in fairly easy fashion. It's more like for the first two years, everyone was saying Cam had great stats but couldn't win. Now, they are saying he wins, but his stats suck. And keep in mind - both Cam and Matt Ryan have similar win percentage (Cam is 30-31-1, Ryan is 33-31) over the last four years. and they are both 4-4 head to head.
  15. That sterling 10-22 record over the last few seasons speaks for itself.
  16. What exactly does Brockel do other than be a backup fullback? Unless he's a big special teams guy, I don't see an issue with swapping him for Ward.
