Predict which quarter Jaycee Horn gets injured
TN05 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
What’s lame is drafting busts -
Panthers aka the Teppers may want to keep Fitterer

Also an assistant coach now, too, with his play calling demands. And Nicole is assistant GM. We’re screwed. -

I won’t even bother watching games next year, then. -
This team is the Carolina Panthers, not the Carolina Bryce Youngs. I hope he succeeds but I’m not going to pretend like what I’ve seen is good.

Russini: Some coaches wanted to bench Young
TN05 replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well yeah, by that point it was clear we’d win the division with competent QB play and Dalton had our best game by far. There would have been no downside for going into win now mode in terms of draft:.. But benching your #1 overall pick for Andy Dalton of all people would probably be a sufficient enough embarrassment that no team in the league would do it. It would probably also have been disastrous to his development. I don’t think it was necessarily the wrong decision. The wrong decision was trading CMC for a bag of chips and then offloading our only receiver + next years first. -
When’s the last time our offense got shut out? That’s what worse looks like.

There's no reason to play Horn, we are 1-10. Maybe we can trade him in the offseason
-
A good player on a bad team doesn't necessarily look bad. And Young hasn't just looked bad - he's looked like the worst QB in the league, and perhaps in the last decade. That could change but you can't just blame how bad he looks on everyone around him.
-
Don’t worry, once Bryce gets an all-pro offensive line and league-best skill position players he might even consistently hit 225 yards a game!
-
We can pull excuses over and over and over but fundamentally Bryce just hasn't shown the ability to lift other players up. Maybe he'll look better with an all-pro offensive line and a great receiving corps, but there's a solid chance he'll be gone before that happens. He's gonna have to be able to make do with less until 2025 at minimum.

Randy Mueller in Athletic on Tepper and Bryce
TN05 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d love to see what formula he used that determined a historically tiny QB was likely to be a Super Bowl champ -
And your reaction to one game where Bryce merely looked below-average, not awful, is to act like he won the superb owl

He’s not wrong. His hedge fund was built on waiting for investments to pay off. He wasn’t impatient there.
