  1. Get rid of the Rooney Rule. It's not working and you can't change the character of rich old men. Since the "rule" has been in effect, there have been 15 minority hires out of 129. Just let these franchises keep making mistakes like Rhule and Judge and many, many others. Let them exclude very good minority candidates to keep the good 'ole boy network up and running smoothly. It's up to fans and players to make a difference. Black, not minority, players make up more than 70% of the league. They have more power than they know to make change. Think what would happen if most of those players were to sit down and dare I say protest. Fans can just stop watching and going to games. The thing is, we know this won't happen so this is going to be what it is. There is nothing that you can do to change these rich old men's minds. It makes me ill because I absolutely love football and the NFL. It sickens me every time stories are brought up with Black and minority coaches getting screwed.
  2. I agree with you, but I was making a point about better coaches than Rhule only getting one year and you never hear from them again. Rhule, will get another job and another job and another job. Get what I'm saying?
  3. I don't believe you bro or sis. You will have to show me where a head coach hired an executive vice president of an NFL team. I've searched, but haven't found any receipts where a head coach, Ron Rivera, hired an executive. Head coaches hire their staffs for the most part but I've never been aware of them hiring executives. Will you please show me? Please? Thank you in advance.
  4. Rhule should have never gotten more than one year here. Treat him like these other coaches that get one year and they're done.
  5. I didn't know head coaches hired executive vice presidents of football teams. Even if what you said is true and head coaches had that power to hire people above their pay grade shows you how messed up these hiring practices are. It's not true, but it doesn't take away the fact that this former beat writer is employed as an executive of an NFL team. You can't explain it but call it for what it is. The Good 'Ole Boy Network is working properly. The jokes write themselves.
  6. Marty Hurney. A joke of an NFL hire. Only in America can a person go from newspaper beat writer(Washington) to GM of an NFL team. You can't make this stuff up. With the latest allegations to come out about hiring practices in the NFL, I'm ashamed to say that I love the league. A BA in General Studies can go a long way in this country, huh?
  7. Not all of us. A lot of us actually see coaches with no experience or WR/Special Teams coaches become head coaches before well qualified ones do. Then, once they fail miserably in their first year, they are not fired like some of these experienced coaches are, they are allowed to keep their jobs. Some of us see this every year. So, no, we all were not thrilled to get him. I'm calling out Joe Judge too. How are these clowns still employed? When they get canned, they will be allowed to get job after job after job in the NFL. Rhule and Judge should have been fired after year one and never seen again, like some of these "other" coaches. end rant...
  8. So, getting rid of an offensively racist name is bowing down to SJWs? What in the actual "Walk like a duck" is this?
  9. Congratulations and well deserved B. Burns!! I also didn't forget you guys that down played Rashawn Slater and Kyle Pitts who a lot of us wanted the Panthers to draft. I see you. Merry Christmas.
  10. I saw Dak Prescott miss a wide open Cee Dee Lamb, twice last week against Denver. QB's miss throws. Even the great Tom Brady misses throws. It happens.
  11. His OL sux too. I hope he gets through the season healthy.
  12. The fight he had because of the nick name cracks me up still to this day! Who's played more games in the last year and a half between him and McCaffrey? Asking for a friend?
  13. Does anyone think that Cam Newton would want to come back and play here? Does anyone truly believe that the Panthers would want Cam Newton back? How about the owner? Do you think that he wants Cam Newton back here? My answer is a resounding 'NO' to all of the above. You may have to rely on your defense to be the main factor in winning this game again.
  14. I've been saying this before the draft. You focused on defense last draft, it was a prime opportunity to get a a top notch OT. But, no, they wanted even more defense in the top 10. Horn is great and all, but it would have been hard for me to pass on Slater. But, what do I know, I don't make millions to make those "tough" decisions.
  15. Time to go to the Hornets, they're talking about African royalty in Giants history.
  16. How about not picking non-NFL guys that you coached in college bro.
  17. Relax, I'm just asking an honest question. Come and hit the blunt with me.
