  1. Maybe they sent him to Michigan’s pro day to scout Jalen Mayfield since Rhule has OL coaching experience.
  2. I feel like my answer will always be offensive line. If we can get Alejandro Villanueva on the cheap, I’d be over the moon.
  3. Is it because he is great at high pointing in contested catch situations or is it because he can’t separate effectively in his routes??? Easy tell you who’s glass half full and who's half empty based off how they take the stat. Where in actuality it’s probably somewhere in the middle.
  4. It’s a big nay for me. JC Jackson definitely looks the part but it’s only a move to consider for a win now team, which the Panthers are not. The deal would essentially be... A YGM/Chinn level prospect & $15M a year in Cap Room OR JC Jackson
  5. I wouldn’t consider signing Fuller to a 1 year deal to be solving their need at CB. It’s a bandaid at best.
  6. I would be over the moon if they take 2 more Bravion Roy type players with the comp picks
  7. Tough year to be hopping back into the league. Wish him well but I can't imagine he gets anything more than an incentive laden 1 year deal with no/minimal guarantees.
  8. I’d have to imagine that Alex Smith is going to retire. I think his point in coming back was showing his kids to “not give up in a crap situation” after his injury.
  9. Bezos is worth more than all of the other owners combined. Never thought I’d say this but I think he has too much money to get in. https://footballscoop.com/news/the-worlds-richest-man-may-be-interested-in-nfl-ownership-jeff-bezos/
  10. He was only on a one year deal. Hell shall break loose on the huddle if he gets a new contract
  11. I took the article differently then the Falcons taking a QB at the 4th pick. I thought he was commenting on the Saints not being complacent in the QB room once they have their starter (Brees) and bringing that philosophy to Atlanta with him. Would it surprise me to see them sign Trubisky to their backup role? Nope. Sh!t happens in the NFL and you don’t want Will Grier level players starting potential important games.
  12. I’m by no means a draft expert but a fair few media personalities prefer Rashawn Slater to Sewell. Slater’s apparently has experience playing all 5 OLine spots. I don’t know how else to justify it because Sewell has always looked like a plug and play 10 year pro at LT.
  13. I haven’t deep dived into their cap but I’m hard pressed to believe to believe they’ll have cap to sign him after giving Lamar $40M a year this offseason in addition to extending Peters, Humphries, Stanley, and the cap not increasing due to COVID. They'll get a late 3rd compensatory in 2023 if he walks after next year. From the Ravens perspective they’d get an early 3rd in 2021 in exchange for 1 year of play from Brown & a compensatory 3rd in 2023.
  14. Sounds like their may be trouble in Baltimore for their mauling RT Orlando Brown, who wants to be a LT. With a new GM who’s said to be in on every trade I wonder if this will be worth a look. He’s on his rookie deal next year, so the cost would probably be a 3rd rounder. Interested?
  15. I think this was Josh Gordon's plan too and lets just say it didn't work out the best for him.
  16. If my league payout was higher I would've purchased an OBJ jersey. Rodgers and OBJ were outscoring entire teams by the end of the season.
  17. True when Gettlemen is mum on a subject that is when you know work is being put in behind the scenes and he was quite mum about Collins. I'm 10-15 minutes outside of Baltimore, but I'm not sure if I'm the kind of company you normally keep. I'm a little wet behind the years and just turned 21 in January. Though I would love to see more Panthers games live than I currently do which is held to prime time games mostly.
  18. A little off topic, but I'm amazed that I'm not the only Panthers fan in Maryland. I feel like the Panthers are a strong candidate, but we don't seem to be making the same aggressive approach as other teams in the league. In terms of fit, I believe we are the perfect one for Collins. We are more run heavy than most and Collins is a mauler, are a up and coming championship contender, can offer him a chance to claim the top position on the Oline at LT immediately, and have Trai here to see him through the ups and downs. But his priorities are his own, I'm hoping his agent is done spewing crap from his mouth and is now looking out for the best interests of his client and sees Carolina as a strong fit because his family will almost certainly want him to stay in Louisiana.
  19. It has been reported that he is going to meet with the Cowboys shortly after May 9th, which I believe is the last day of the semester for LSU students and our rookie mini-camp is May 8th-9th so if he chooses to come to Carolina he will behind the 8 ball a little. But same goes for Shaq because of the quarters system at UW, so it won't be tragic but Collins won't be putting himself in the best place to succeed. I'd imagine his list is realistically 4-5 teams and he might meet with each and every one of those teams before making a decision.
  20. It would probably be wise of him to sign somewhere before rookie camps start, but unfortunately I don't think that will happen.
  21. I don't think Cam should aspire to be Brees on game day, that's just not his game. He can aspire to Brees in terms of preparation, longevity, and command of his offense. I honestly believe Cam is the most physically gifted player to ever play quarterback and when he hangs up his cleats people are going to aspire to be everything Cam Newton brought to the quarterback position.
  22. It's hard to say what will happen... This is something that is unprecedented and I doubt will happen again in the near future. This may turn into a college style recruiting event, something Louisiana has already won with Collins going to LSU. It's too close to call in my opinion, I can see both happening but I don't see other teams besides New Orleans and Carolina having as good of a shot.
