  1. Rhule’s comments in his presser yesterday made it seem like the only reasoning Christensen played LG was because of injuries to the iOL and that Christensen is seen as an option at RT
  2. To me yes, based off the amount of reps he was getting I thought he was hot garbage right now. To be fair Burns, Reddick, Haynes, Miller, and YGM probably aren’t the easiest to handle in practice.
  3. Number one offender has to be Trent Scott. I also can't imagine Rhule was pleased with Kenny Robinson lowering his helmet and getting a 15 yarder because that's bad technique.
  4. His foot speed is impressive. There's definitely a quality NFL lineman in there
  5. Agreed, a 48% completion percentage is kinda dookie
  6. Bringing back Okung is probably more likely since he has familiarity with the system. If I’m the Panthers I stick Christensen at one position and throw him out there for the entire preseason. See what the guy has.
  7. Looks like the LB depth is really starting to become an issue.
  8. They aren’t exactly setting Jameis up for success either in terms of passing weapons. Idc how good of a coach Payton is, Jameis can’t be better going from Evans/Godwin to Marquez Callaway and TreQuan Smith
  9. C’mon Brady Christensen, it’s your time to shine
  10. Bayless isn’t nearly the athlete Marshall is. Bayless is also three years older than Marshall and has a year in the NFL so I’d expect his technique to be better at this point.
  11. Please let Christensen be better than a JAG. Them valuing him over Marshall gives me some hope
  12. Would assume the Watson trade goes down next offseason and if the Panthers can re-energize Darnolds career then he’d be apart of the deal.
  13. $13.75M this year and $16.5 next year (120% of this years tag) is probably more reasonable than what Moton is asking for
  14. I wonder if Fitterer is keeping up with Morgan Moses. If they extend Moton, they could use the cap savings to help bring in Moses on a 2ish year deal.
  15. Did any of the tryout out stick out? Clinton-Dix is probably the biggest name and probably got a decent amount of work in 11 on 11s
  16. I remember Colin Thompson catching a TD pass last year and having no idea whatsoever who he was.
  17. That’s narrow minded. Panthers are in the business of acquiring talent. It would not be shocking at all if the idea of bringing in Clinton-Dix, is that in obvious passing situations (Two-minute and teams playing catch-up) they’ll put Chinn at LB and bring in Clinton-Dix to play FS. That seems slightly more important than depth. We’re not in the building, we don’t have that kind of insight.
  18. His “home” is going to be very matchup dependent. At different times this season he’ll play slot corner, cover tight ends, deep safety, qb spy, blitzer, box safety, etc. Saying Clinton-Dix isn’t going to be looked at as a FS because Chinn is a FS is essentially pigeon-holing Chinn into one slot.
  19. Putting a position on Chinn will end up making your head hurt. The Panthers are looking for linebackers/safeties who can play multiple spots so they can confuse tf out of the opposing offenses.
  20. Will Grier is probably the one penciled in to the practice squad developmental QB spot.
  21. My guess would be because he hasn't signed his rookie contract yet.
