The number 6 pick is a major piece to entice the Texans.. No other team being discussed now can give a for certain top 10 pick (expect Seattle). If we're battling the Saints or Tampa I don't see them having a better offer then us..

Will Grier did the same thing and still was a 3rd rounder.. If this was a better QB class Pickett would be looked at in the same way as Grier was.. By every analyst opinion the only reason these QB are being move up is position value and desperation... Also it clear to see teams in position to get a drafted QB are willing to bankrupt their team for a veteran option instead of the draft option..

That's a lot of movement to have a top heavy roster at the top of the salary cap.. No draft picks and the best offensive weapon facing jail time..

All that success is with players who aren't there any more.. Its a way harder division.. And the coach is 70.. And again if we have to give up young talent so will they.. Who do they have that can match our package.. I understand your acknowledgement of how good Seattle has been but this is not the same team and would be just as bad as us after trading for Watson..

Yeah the colts would be solid but like you said they are in the division.. Philly would be okay as well imo... But Seattle, would be close to us in damage.. The Saints cap situation is fuged already and they would have to cut older still productive players and give up young talent which would crush them.. Tampa have late round picks and a older roster.. They would probably have to give up Evan's, White, and their young safety plus cut ppl to fit his contract on the roster.. Minnesota got to find a trade partner for Cousin and give up picks.. Who else is in this bidding war..

On offense.. Metcalf and Fant.. Other then that they don't have any good defender on a rookie deal.. There Oline is just as bad as ours and older.. No great pass rusher or lock down CB.. What roster are you looking at??

Great but how long do you expect Carroll to keep that situation going. And Again you have younger HC in that division already with major success.. No matter how much Mental Gymnastics you come up with Seattle isn't a win now situation and probably just as close to a rebuild as we are... Losing Wilson and Wagner is like us losing Cam and Luke.. Philly and Pittsburgh (except being in the AFC) has the picks and situation that is perfect for Deshaun and Houston..
