I really don't want to go over this again.. But the difference with Burrows was when he got his opportunity he blew up for 67 td .. He didn't get 4 years of opportunities like Pickett.. And Again I wouldn't have drafted him number 1 based off 1 season either.. I would have been wrong so far.. But history back me up most of the time.. One year wonders usually flame out... But we can agree to disagree.. I think the 4years of meh and the 1 good year of QB play by Pickett avg. Out to a 2nd or 3rd round pick QB.. And with no Elite skillset or upside that where he is for me?? I just want ppl to post all the numbers and all the breakdown when discussing him.. Don't cherry pick to improve your narrative..

Okay I see you're stuck on something.. Getting 3 1st round pick would easily get you in the door.. And still the Saints have to move around more players and money to make there offer happen... Facts are making both teams think the other team made a good offer doesn't hurt the Texans..

Core players?? Huh Rb facing charges and 1 WR coming back after sitting for the year.. The Oline is losing Atleast 2 major parts.. And without draft picks and Money how do they add talent.. They are already going to have to move heaven and earth to make this happen..

The biggest thing in our favor is We have a top 10 pick ready to go on the books the Saints don't and probably won't have.. If it was Seattle or Philly in this they could match our offer... But the Saints can't..

The 1st Hurdle is getting Watson okay anyway.. So letting him meet and then hashing out the deal is the way to go... There deal might be the 2nd best they can get but keeping the ruse of a 2 or 3 team race is still beneficial no matter what the offers really are... Especially with teams dropping off like the Bucs and the Vikes..

Post as many opinion pieces you want.. Facts are he was a 2nd round pick because his talent and resume deemed it that way.. I wouldn't have drafted him top 10 then and I wouldn't give up a top 10 pick for him now. And I feel even worse about Pickett who I don't think can carry Carr's Jock...

We do the same to Tony Romo and Dak.. But again he was drafted in the 2nd round meaning his talent and resume at the time was seen that way.. When it doesn't go that way you over draft and put to much responsibilities (because where they were drafted) on players like Joey Harrington, Blain Gabbert and Locker and Christan Ponder...

Cool I'm glad he has been so good that the actual team is always rumored to be in trade talks or looking at other QB's... Just like now when he is being talked about going to the Colts.. Its been that way almost every year for him.. So I'm glad this writer thinks so highly of Carr I wished his team did.. Still I wouldn't draft Derrick Carr in the top 10 either.. Because he is what he is a QB who needs a lot help to be successful...

Your point still doesn't justify wasting a high pick on a player with less talent, a lesser resume and more red flags!! So just because every QB needs help (different amounts due to talent) we should draft a lesser talented one??

Post opinion pieces isn't changing the fact he has no playoff success and his talent only warranted a 2nd round pick... If we get Pickett in the 2nd round cool. That means we got a for sure talent in the 1st and he was drafted to his talent and resume level..

Stafford had the resume and talent to be a number 1 pick.. Pickett Nor Carr do.. And Yes Stafford didn't win which is another reason you shouldn't pick a sub par talent QB high because even the good ones need help.. it's just The Sub Par ones need alot more of it..

I would love to know how great that package is . Late round picks, not to many good players on rookie deals and never being big players in FA because Salary cap is always a issue..

Doesn't change the risk factor was greatly diminished by where he was drafted.. That doesn't work when you draft that type of QB high.. And your idea of Out playing his draft status is always being questioned if he is a franchise QB that can carry a team, no playoff success, and being considered the least talented QB in that division...

Great Derrk Carr was a 2nd round Pick.. If we can get him then the hate wouldn't be so prevalent... Nobody was drafting Derek Carr or Andy Dalton top 10 .. So why do it now??

It's still similar breakdowns.. Smart players, above avg. Arms Avg athletics reads defenses moves well in the pocket.. No elite talent.. Same Buzz words similar athletics similar talents (1 consistently had better numbers) but we're dam near talking about the same player.. The only reason Pickett is getting a hire score is the level of competition in the draft .. Will Grier had Murray's, Allen and Jones in his draft..
