I'm not a Rhule fan but I do have hope that his biggest mistake was his ego.. Not having a more experienced staff around him hiring a bunch of his friends and being the end all to be all on some roster decisions.. Hopefully has humbled him and he is willing to give some responsibility to Fitt and the staff he has assembled..

I truly hope all this connecting the dots (Tepper went to Pitt, Rhule recruited him) don't mean poo at the end of the day..

Exactly!! He learned.. Trashing QBS that you are financially committed to isn't smart.. Especially when you don't have a viable replacement on the roster already. Maybe he realized that it isn't a smart move to trash a player while you still have to pay them and look at them in your locker room.. Thank God he didn't do that stupid poo again.. Reading between the lines and jmo.. He blames himself for Rhule's failures more then Rhule.. His impatience on the roster and especially at QB decision.. The original staff hires.. And expectation on the W-L record and ramping up before the rosters was ready....

A few things I liked.. 1. Fitt is certainly in control.. 2. His impatience and meddling has cost the team.. 3. He's learned not to burn bridges before having a replacement in house.. 4. Everybody realized not having experience on staff was a huge mistake when hiring a college coach with no experience..

I agree with alot of this assessment.. Everybody hates that he is still giving grace to Sam... Well he fuged up last year with the Teddy situation and doesn't want to make the same mistake.. Where you poo on a QB fell to replace him and can't go back to them.. He admitted he hasn't been patient which has cost this team years of building the right way..
