This is the most honest thing he has said.. At this point he can't depend on anything on offense.. How you can run a offense where the Oline can't be trusted to blocked for a 5 to 7 step drop back.. They can't run block consistently.. Your star offensive player can't stay healthy.. Then your strength (wr Corp) can't catch the ball.. Finally Your QB isnt accurate and can't read defenses... What else can he say..

There was no Plan B this season... I still think they knew this is still a rebuilding team in year 2 of the rebuild that Tepper sent the letter about... Once San Francisco made that trade and They lost out on Stafford and Watson this was the plan... I still think they will be a player for free agent QBS next offseason if this Darnold thing continues..

A top 5 quality player still young they thought could be coached up to his potential with a good surrounding cast... The surrounding cast has failed and he needs way more coaching up if he isn't already broken..

1st game starting at one of the hardest positions to transition to in the pros... He was expectedly horrible... He needs more time and more reps..

Again your opinion... I think we are a better run team with more talent on the roster and a onwer with deeper pockets then the jets... If you think we're the jets cool.. Adam Gase wasn't going to be hired by any other team.. Rhule was either 1 to 3 top coaching prospect teams wanted.. Our GM has killed it this offseason whether it shows up on the field right now or not.. You can change up what you thought weeks ago if want.. But reality is most here loved most of the moves this offseason and thought we were on the right path until this 4 week losing streak... Alot ppl here forget we are STILL A REBUILDING TEAM IN YEAR 2.. We weren't going to be a finished team this year.. We still have major holes that couldn't be fixed in a year.. Just because your expectations change because 3 wins doesn't mean any of that change..

I think it's the offense as a whole right now... Oline not good enough to consistently let Routes develop in the passing game or open holes in the running game.. Qb can't read defenses and isn't accurate.. Wr got the yheps on catching the ball... At this point you can't trust any position group on offense at all..

4 years on a horribly run team.. Cool go by that tape.. Payton had 4 years of tape on Jamie's and still thinks he can fix him... And reality is you only gave up a 2nd round pick.. For a person with top 5 draft talent and still very young... At the end of day I'm not mad at the move just the results..

I agree with Teddy.. but Sam had elite QB traits and younger then Joe Burrows... Teddy was going into year 8 and 28 years old.. Also it's a fact most Scouts in the league had Sam as a top 5 pick in this years draft... Teddy was never top 5 pick quality.. The move made some sense... It worked for Greenbay with Bret Farve and San Fran with Steve Young.. Young QB with skills not making on his original team and going to a new team being good has happened in NFL history before.. It just sucks that it won't work out for us..

Yeah that's clear now... But reality is Darnold was a top 5 pick because he has physically elite QB skills... Any OC and HC worth his stock feels they can work and rehabilitate physically skilled players.. (Payton with Jameis in New Orleans) ... It happens they were wrong but I'm cool with taking the shot at relevance instead staying status quo with a player you know doesn't have it ..

This is a dumb conversation and a overarching after a horrible lose... If you're done with Rhule.. You might want to take 2 years off because he's here for Atleast 2 more years.. Sorry .. But Tepper is from the Steelers system and they don't fire coaches after 1 season..

We've have truly become the Cardinals and Browns fan base.. Without all the loyalty... Atleast they show up even when they lose... But firing coaches after a year is stupid..
