Wrong ... Tervour lawrance, Andrew Luck, Peyton manning and many others were thought as can't miss prospect.. Better then other prospects at other position.. Yes it happens...

1. Cam .. Was productive at Blinn.. And a national championship.. 2. Josh Allen .. Younger way more physical talent and 2 years of production.. Kyler Murray- Younger way more talented only got 1 year to start.. And special situation was he got drafted by his college coach.. The most comparable situation is Burrows.. And again his situation isn't 1 the works out for the most part.. So the question is again .. Is Pickett really a prospect worth taking a risk strategy on that rarely works out..

I'm doing the same thing.. And most scout has this as a down QB draft.. Most scouts say the same thing about all the QB in this draft.. "I wouldn't draft him high but "desperate QB teams will probably pick him" .. This statement is a red flag . Read between the lines.. Look at the prospect and compare him to others.. Compare the class.. He isn't a good prospect unless you're desperate..

Good point.. Every position has bust picks. But the question is .. What is the best way to avoid making a bust pick?? Pick the lesser prospect with less production in college and less talent at his position.. Or Pick the higher rated prospect (by all scouts) with years of college production and a day 1 starter .

Here come the excuses.. If you have to talk yourself into a prospect and come up with reason why he isn't a "no questions" 1st round talent.. Why make him a top 5- 15 pick?? Clausen, had great mechanics.. Let that sit on your soul when using that as a point..

Name me another few QB's other then Burrows.. Where that was a winning strategy then I'll shut up.. Don't worry I'll wait.. But facts are Will Grier was a better Prospect coming out and had more years of college production and he was barely a 3rd round pick..

Kenny Pickett is a 1 year wonder 1 year younger the Sam Darnold.. It took him 5 years to have that 1 good year.. In most years with good QB prospects he would be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.. This would be a horrible pick for us for many reasons.. Beyond the major red flags of hes older his arm isn't elite, he is a okay athlete and it took him 5 years to be a draft worthy prospect.. 1. The coaching staff that might be doing the pick.. 2. Picking him eliminates adding day 1 starting talent for the Oline.. 3. Since he is not a great prospect.. Like a Lawrence, Wison , Lance or Fields.. Yours forcing a QB on your next coaching hire he might not want..

Good Breakdown but you forgot to mention that most of Burrows weapons have stay healthy all season and where they lacked in pass blocking the Bengals aren't that bad at run blocking. And they've been together longer..

I pray and Hope Tepper ain't that stupid and doesn't look at things in black or white situations.. Hopefully he understands it's not just about giving full control out.. Its who you deem to give it to is the problem..

Jmo .. I'd rather stick with Rhule one more year then go to another "hot now" coordinator with no HC experience and will take more years to figure out how to do that.. Or retread with moderate nfl success.. But Harbaugh is a different story.. That's like getting Arians or Carroll or Reid type of coach.. Dude has won and been successful where ever he goes and has a Culture ready to go day 1.. You can't pass that up..

What makes you think that?? He went to a NFC championship game with a game manager 1 year then went to the superbowl with a 1 read and go QB the next.. That shows adaptability to the talent you have.. Not to mention he is a former QB.. He knows offense.. smh.

Ppl keep asking why would he come here?? Easy.. Money and power.. We can offer both to him.. Richest owner in the NFl and not alot of egos in the FO staff.. We gave a no experienced coach a 70 million 7 year contract full control.. We shouldn't be afraid to do the same and more for a guy with Harbaugh's resume... Not to mention he has lived in the area before since he was a backup QB here..

This is what kills me about this fan base.. They can go crazy about some hot now coordinator.. Who has never ran a team or has the resume to compete with a Harbaugh... Its like you choose to repeat the same mistake a different way.. Ready to hire the next Question mark who will need time to figure out how to be a HC.. Instead of getting the guy who done it successfully already..Then bring up narrative and stories they don't know poo about and act like they are reporting facts.. He wasn't losing that Locker room.. Him and GM didn't like each other and the owner choose the GM who he was friends with.. They got lucky to get Shanahan but still haven't been as consistently good as they were with Harbaugh... Reality check.. If this article is true.. Its rare a sorry ass team like us are in position to get a coach with this type a resume.. Harbaugh is a sure bet to come in and clean up the mess Rhule and Tepper have made.. We would be crazy not to throw the kitchen sink at this guy to get him here..

And ppl around here complain about Culture and the effects Rhule has on the player and all the coddling.. Not to many coaching candidates and Coordinators are coming with a Culture and instant respect..
