@Panthers Rhule argument is essentially "He might be Joe Burrows" A player with no elite talent no consistent history of success but did have a all time great season in the hardest college conference in the country.. And stayed that type of player so far in the league.. Problems are.. Joe and Kenny weren't 1 for 1 in the same situation.. 1 was giving ample opportunities to have more then 1 blow up season...1 wasn't .. 2. The Joe Burrows isn't a tried and true method of getting a franchise QB.. It doesn't normally happen that a QB comes out of nowhere (and no elite QB traits) has 1 great season in college and stay that same player in the pro's.. The historical method is drafting a QB with years of consistent success or drafting a player with elite skill sets..

"Transferred " to LSU 1st years as a true starter 16td 5ints + 7 rushing TDs in 13 games (better then 4 years of Pickett) then the blow up 67 td season... Not the same as being the true starter for 4 years and being bad... Also let's not look past the point you are putting your Hope's on 1 situation where a 1 year wonder at QB worked out.. If that is the strategy then let's draft a 6th round QB and hope he is Brady ..

Try to effectively show a progression from year 1 to year 5 not just showing Year 5 and based his whole college career on it...
