A rookie needs time to learn the verbiage, the speed of the game, most have never ran a nfl offense or even taking snaps from under center.. Let alone reading defenses learning the playbook and all the mental stuff. All this takes time for the best QB prospect.. And there isn't a prospect like Cam, Lawrence, Andrew Luck or Peyton manning in this draft.. So the learning curve is even bigger for lesser prospects.. Which this draft is full of.. While Sam is dumb and makes dumb decisions No QB in this draft is physicality going to outmatched him.. Speed, Arm ability, athleticism..

So again if you know this.. How does it benefit team to poo or act drab about a player that has to be on the field for you?? Your whole thing doesn't make sense when you believe what you just said..

Mcadoo said he is the starter before back tracking and catching himself.. Read between the mistake.. They are preparing to start Darnold.. Fitt also said many times "we have to be fair to Sam and put better pieces around Sam and put Sam in a better situation " Did you miss him saying that 20x?? Adding another QB doesn't mean that player is going to be able to beat out Sam.. They could draft a QB in the 2nd 3rd or 4th round.. That guy isn't beat Sam for the job right away..

Reality check for some ppl here.. Even if we draft a QB at 6.. There is not a sure thing in this draft that will come in and clearly beat Darnold for the starting QB position.. Darnold already has a head start in experience and his physical talent will match up well with anybody in this draft..

Oc 2 last year wasn't very experience either and was his friend.. That's not the same as Mcadoo who has more experienced and was a HC longer them him.. All your talking about happened last year.. Before he got humbled with 1. Fitt taking more of the roster duties and being more of the face of the franchise.. 2. Him being forced to hire more experienced coaches with HC ability.. There are 3 guys on the coaching staff now that can be interim HC if he gets fired during the season.. I know Rhule didn't want that..

How can it be a racial thing when he was willing to trade his whole team and pay 100 mill plus to a Black QB he didn't know would serve Jail time?? That's stupid because there a good chance he might be your QB all season.. At this point you are not assured to have a viable replacement on the roster..
