I was actually more pissed off that Rhule pussied out of 4th and inches with Corral then the goal line stuff.. Atleast at the Goal line it was a situation where you might not get the ball back if you didn't try to pass out of it... And that would have been the end of Corral game actions this preseason with them using the last game as a dress rehearsal for the season..

Simple.. You can take a 3rd round swing on a developmental QB project with elite talent traits.. Teams do it all the time and don't plan to play that player his rookie year.. Its called long term planning.. Good Organization usually draft young QB they develop.. Fitt said he wanted a young QB developing in the room.. And that's what he did..

Not when they waited almost 3 rounds and wouldn't give up 2023 1st or 2nd pick to get him... Actions speak louder then words.. If they truly had him as QB1 with a 1st round grade why not give up the high picks next year to get him??

RIP you have to stop saying "facts" when things aren't facts.. Just because teams "said" they had 1st round grades on player doesn't mean they did.. Their actions which are Facts.. Say all those team skipped over him 3x in the draft.. And the "facts" are he was only drafted 4 to 6 spots ahead of WIll Grier (context not for the same reason) but it happened.. He wasn't 2nd team because they saw how far away he was from being a starter in Rookie mini camp, mini camp, offseason workouts and TC.. Which the whole time the organization was telling fans like you that the plan was for him to have a Redshirt year.. Again that isn't crazy when the guy is a raw 3rd round project.. Finally you want to blame the HC like he was a lone gunman in this decision.. When in reality it was The GM, HC, scouting staff and OC all uttering the same plan.. Not just the HC.. Where were you when this was being said.. You only heard the 1st round grade thing and didn't listen to anything else??

When did any of this happen?? I didn't like any of these moves from the get go.. I took a wait and see on each player and have threads of me Trashing them when it was proven on the field... 2 scenario.. 1. Baker is good saves Rhule's job gets either Franchise tag or a 3 years contract (like teddy) and MC gets next year and the year after to develop as his backup.. 2. MC is still under contract for 3 more years.. Fitt is still here and hires the new coach.. New coach gets his QB but MC is still here due to his elite arm talent and physical abilities.. And works his way into a back up role like Matt Schaub did in ATL..

A little context.. No competition in Washington because the Commanders gave up a 2nd and 2 3rds plus absorbing 28 million contract... Not the same as Baker for a 4th and Cleveland paying 10.5 mil and Baker taking a 3 mil paycut.. To be here.. A better comparison is Teddy last year.. Who was in a competition with Lock that he won.. He has a opportunity if he comes back and works hard on NFL play style and bulking up.. Even with a new coach his arm talent and athleticism will give him a chance to compete.. Dude it's not worth it.. Locker room politics is non existent variable here.. Especially when things don't work the way some ppl here think they should work.. And even this changes depending the level of like and trust in said player or coach.. So reasoning for anything is a changing target on a person to person basis.. At the end ppl make up their own narrative and all you can do is agree to disagree..
