    Not just the best defender.. he is the best and most indispensable player on the team.. So get all agitated but it's a fact.. No body on this team affects more area of play than MKG.. Defense, rebounding, assist, fast breaks and can score alittle bit.. all while still being 21.. He is a 5 tool player.. And you probably don't know what that means so I'm wasting my time here. .

    LeBron missed free throw that did cost his team the game.. I guess he isn't the best player in Cleveland because of that..lol Let's also be clear.. If it wasn't for MkG guarding Lin at the end of the game we would have lost. . Because Mo couldn't stop him and AL can't play defense. . Lin was completely killing us until MKG put a stop to it.. The only reason you can have such bad defenders as MO Williams and AL on the court at the same time is MKG.. You don't know basketball if you can't see that..

    Wtf is wrong with you?? This has been proven over and over again... Without MKG we lose a lot even to bad teams... With him we are in every game.. Scottie Pipen (one of the best defenders all time) got toasted for 55 against Jamal Mashburn and 40+ twice to Penny Hardaway.. So bringing up MKG bad defensive night against a league scoring champion when he was 20 years old is asinine. .

    I'd honestly hope Gettlemen takes advantage of the secondary choices in FA rather than using the draft.. Better CB and Safeties in FA than in the draft this year..

    He is slow and has never been a blocking back coming out the backfield. . Not to mention the fact he is slower than most of the LBS and Safeties who will be covering him.. Also a H-back has to have some threat in running the ball and O'leary has never taken a hand off.. Where is your logic.. Last let me bring up the point that you yourself said "Gettlemen is trtrying to phase out the running game".. Why would he take a primary blocking back in the 3rd if he was doing that?? You are contradicting yourself. .

But, he's fast compared to Nick O'Leary. For the record, he has three 100 yard rushing games in the NFL, but they were all for the Chargers. I know for a fact that Brad Hoover had at least one 100 yard rushing game for us. He was very rarely called upon to carry the ball for us, but back in '00 when we just flat out ran out of RBs he started at RB for us and carried the ball 24 times for 117 yards in a win vs. the Packers. Tolbert ran a 4.75 40 coming out of college. Brad Hoover reportedly ran in the 4.6s. O'Leary barely outran the fastest offensive linemen at the combine this year while weighing about 50 pounds less. That's why I have serious questions about him being an NFL caliber athlete. O'Leary was... 17th out of 18 TEs in the 40 (4.93) 7th out of 12 TEs in the 3 cone (0.55 seconds behind 1st place, only 0.22 seconds ahead of last place) 6th out of 11 TEs in the shuttle 10th out of 10 TEs in the vertical (tied with two other for last at 30.5") 9th out of 11 TEs in the broad jump (2" ahead of last place) 4th out of 14 TEs in the bench press (Yay!) Now, keep in mind, this is considered one of the weakest TE classes in recent memory and Nick O'Leary is clearly one of the, if not the worst athlete at the position in the class. If you want to classify him as a FB, fine. FBs are very rarely drafted anyway these days. The numbers add up to a guy who will be a late round draft pick or possibly even go undrafted. That's just the truth. Drafting this guy in the 3rd round would be insane.

    1. In 2010 Mike Tolbert was the leading rusher in San Diego with 740 yards and 11 Td's.. 2. You are not a Panthers fan if you don't Remember Hoover rushing for 145 2 Td's on Monday night football against the Green bay packers. . Seriously are you even a Panthers fan??

    I was stuck on the O'leary pick that I didn't even notice yhe Collins pick in the 1st round. . Hey I respect me some Igo... But there is literally no way Landon Collins makes it to our pick.. Best safety in the draft + highly valued position + big drop off after him (horrible safety draft) = Not being close to the 25th pick in the draft.. Sorry J Igo the math just doesn't add up.. I would be shocked if he makes it out of the top 15 picks..

    Hoover was a RB coming out of college. . O'leary is a slow TE you want to transition to a H-back. . Beyond the fact that Tolbert and Hoover are faster than O'leary. . They both know how to be running backs.. O'leary hasn't ever taken a hand off in college. . Can you honestly see O'leary rushing for a 100 yards in a pro football game??

    There were many who had Jimmy Clausen as a 1st round even a top 20 pick. . What does that mean?? I promise nobody drafts Oleary before the 4th or 5th round. .
