It doesn’t hurt having a vet who can teach while being a back up who can win 2 or 3 games if needed.. Mccown can still do his job but we still need a vet on the roster.. Depending on your rookie QB it will determine what level vet you need.. Stroud or Young = equals older back up.. Levis = a vet guy who can start the season and maybe 6 to 8 weeks.. Richardson and everybody else = A vet who can play the season if have to.. JMO

As bridge QB’s while this staff develops Levi’s or Richardson?? Yes. in that situation I think you will need a bridge QB on a cheaper deal because I don’t think Levi’s or Richardson are day 1 ready and you will need a bridge QB.. If you get Stroud or Young I could see a older vet Like Flacco or Nick or Hoyer being on the roster for league minimum…

Ppl also don’t understand that 2024 and 25 are big cap flexibility years for us.. We have a lot of Cap money after 23 and a QB on a rookie deal..

Reality check.. Delhome wasn’t a retread.. He was a never was.. He wasn’t a starting QB for any NFL team giving a chance before Carolina.. He was the 3rd stringer on the Saints who they got from NFL Europe.. Retreads are guys who have been giving opportunities and teams have actually tried to build teams around them.. That wasn’t Delhome..

Andy Reid is a great coach but he still needs Mahomes.. You can be a great coach but you still need the talent and we don’t have that on this roster..

Don’t totally agree because the Smoke around Levi’s being seen as a Josh Allen isn’t fake… I can see team based on Levi’s potential being swayed to take him over both… Wilson went before Fields, Lance and Mac based off potential… Trubisky went before Mahomes and Watson based on potential… Potential is a powerful drug in the scouting world..

Future capital don’t mean crap if you don’t have the most important position on the field.. I don’t know what game you watched but Burrows went 3-1 without Chase this year.. A beat down on us being 1 of those games.. Burrows has proven with or without Chase he is a difference maker.. And Jmo you’re not getting the same quality player after the top 2.. So you can wait and hope somebody can develop into that guy.. Which with this new staff might work.. But I’d rather trade up and get that guy who has already shown they are at that level.. again Just my opinion l…

Yep!! I didn’t understand Gettelmen ego and why he let it make the moves he did.. Gross negotiation, thinking he could replace 2 whole positions groups in 1 offseason.. making moves that voided you having back to back winning seasons.. I just didn’t get why Gettelmen couldn’t live in success..
