WOW!!

My problem is after years of seeing what the difference is in having a QB with elite skills and QB without.. How can some people here want to go back to the latter?? Love Jake to death but every year had to be dam near perfect to make the playoffs.. Great running game, great WR'S , good Oline... And still we were the Cardiac Cats.. While Cam with a little of help could blow teams out the water and take sub par talent to a super bowl..

Maybe not week one or TC but Teddy will start being Teddy at some point and Talent rises to the top... Let's also remember alot of us didn't think Cam was ready to start after a horrible pre season... Then best rookie QB year ever...

I saw Cam carry 1 not very good Auburn team to a undefeated national title and a bad panthers offense to a super bowl.. Russell Wilson without blocking for years always makes the playoffs.. Aaron Rodgers takes street FA WR to a MVP's season.. Either you're a QB who needs alot to be successful or you're one who can masked a team diffecency to success... I want the latter...

I believe he could beat Teddy out as well..

Love natural talent... If you believe you have the right staff to develop it.. You should always go with natural talent..

And you want the addition.. The added playbook more options for a play caller.. Makes your offense better then being hamstrung by a Unathletic QB with a okay arm... You need one or the other a big arm or mobility not having either is career backup traits in today nfl..

Plain and simple you cut off a chunk of your offensive potential with a Unathletic QB.. RPO, Read option, and a effective playaction passing attack are non and void with a Unathletic QB..

I don't need a Cam but you have to be Atleast as athletic as a Burrow Jones or Herbert. And I totally don't understand what team you were watching last year.. There were alot of design QB runs and Draws also some RPO plays all in this offense... I don't see a good offense going forward in today's NFL without RPO and QB run plays that really make defenses fear the play action pass...

Chris Simms based athletic QB on his athleticism.. Anybody compared to him is athletic.... Mac looks dumpy and slow . Moving in a clean pocket is 1 thing but let's not act like he has dealt with the pass rush he'll see in the NFL... So we don't really know how good he is in moving in a pocket. Like I said I don't believe in non mobile QB with avg. Arm strength.. I'm sorry.. Give me the athlete and teach him...

The moving around in the pocket thing is a misnomal until we see him behind a bad Oline that isn't dominating lower competition.. I think Matt has the better arm.. But I believe all three couldn't carry a team if they aren't put in favorable situations...

If we're talking last few years. Bill's and Dolphins have been good or Atleast competitive and then the Patriots. Last few years I would say AFC east is the stronger division... I also think the Jags had more talent surrounding Minshew if we're being realistic... But like I said it could go either way for me depending on compensation.. I'd rather go with natural talent but the stats don't lie.

I don't even have to do that.. I watched the games and can see the difference in Teddy passing to DJ and DJ breaks 3 tackles and get 20 to 30 more yards. And Cam Passing to Ted Ginn or Philly and they fall and Cam only getting the yards he passed for and no extra YAC...

We watched the games... Alot of their yards were made by them not the QB.. Let's be realistic.. If Teddy throws a 5 to 10 yard pass and Roddy or DJ or Curtis take it 30 - 40 more yards down the field.. Who gets credit for that??

I definitely agree with this.. I also think Mike Davis was a better RB then what ever the Jets had.

Darnold Could be a David Carr situation all over again as well.. Shell shocked and not repairable..

But you would agree Minshew also played with better surrounding talent in a weaker division right?? Context and situational differences does matter in this breakdown right??
