If he is what you think he is why risk not getting him.. Especially at the QB position.. That means you might like the player but you're nor in love with him or forsure about him.

I think they would've tried to trade up 1 for Wilson alot harder... And at this point I'm not sure if they even like Lance. Especially not as much as I do..

I agree ... Alot ppl here got a love affair with Fields that I just don't see as much... And if the staff loved him they could have secured him...

We go all defense last year.. This year not a very strong defensive draft with 1 maybe 2 players going top 10... It is strong in the middle round Especially Secondary players but not as many bonafide Defensive Linemen, pass rushers or LB.. We spend more money ln FA on defense... Who gets credit for the four thought if this is the case?? Is this a plus in Rhule cap?? Discuss..

They can say QB is still a option but reality is they could have traded up like San Francisco and secured getting any of the 3 they wanted.. They were even at 2 of the pro days talking about Sam with the jets... He was 3rd option in my opinion and the only thing that held it up from happening sooner is Douglas wanting to look at all pro days of the QB... And as soon as he sees Wilson ... Deal done Hmmmmmm..

I'm starting think this team Loved 2 QBS in this draft and just likes the other 3... I think if Jacksonville or Ny would have put those picks on the market we would have done a San Francisco like deal.. The rest of them aren't worth it..

That's why I think some of you got this wrong.. If plan ABC was trade for vet QB. And the fact they were willing to trade a boat load for Stafford or Watson and not trade up for a rookie let's me know a rookie QB may not be anything they want..

I agree but Wilson has something I can't put my finger on. I would add Wilson between 3rd Wr and 2nd tackle.. I would have Parson high on the list as well..

Lance and Fields are still questioned marks for me .

Sewell Slater Pitts Trade down.. I equate Sam and Fields similar not a big fan of either but Sam is here and has a more talented arm. Give him protection and weapons.. Build the wall on both sides of the line and the wins will come...

If ppl were okay with the 5th and 6th best QB in this draft then we should be okay with the 2nd and 3rd best OT... If we can trade down and not miss out on a OT then cool but I'd rather not take the risk...

Don't care either way.. We are still getting to the same place and everybody doesn't have to come the same way. Some ppl have actually number benchmarks others have eloquently described what they need to see to believe.. Which is the purpose of this thread...

Your opinion not mine and it's cool.. I can tell the difference in fault when a play doesn't or even when it does work out.. Individual stats with context...

I want to see what they surround him with on the Oline.. And the rest of this agree to disagree. Individual stats are individual for a reason.. W-l are a team stat imo... Like I said I will add context to my opinion (injuries, plays messed up by under performing teammates, coaching mistakes) Will change my opinion..
