No defense in the league is stopping every team or doesn’t have a off day..
-
But he was.. are we playing if’s and but or reality?
-
The situation was you said force a player to play under a contract he doesn’t want to.. I just pointed out how that might not workout like you think… And again no matter what decision was made it wasn’t 1 person who made that decision…
-
Well open the link so non subscriber can read it.. but if this is your game … You pretty much are saying Marty Hurney is a good GM who built 2 Super Bowl rosters under 2 different coaches philosophies on his own player evaluation skills.. I’m a Marty defender and wouldn’t say that…
-
Okay that’s your opinion.. But I don’t want to see a disgruntled Cam force to play.. If its that easy then Atlanta should have forced Julio to play under his contract .. but most times it seem easier to just release the player instead of dealing with that headache ask Houston.
-
Hindsight 20/20 but that wasn’t reality 2 years ago…
-
Dude has 7 Sacks with 6 games to go.. That’s isn’t meh.. And he’s been better and made a lot of plays outside of just sacks and pressures.. Some of you are going overboard after 1 bad game..
-
I’m sorry I don’t subscribe to the observer. But this is complete BS… Marty drafted to whatever coaches team philosophy… Fox and Ron had way different Philosophies and that’s why you can see the differences in the type of players Fox wanted and The type of players Ron wanted… If Marty had final say the team would’ve been the Same type for the 10 years Marty was here.. example… Fox would have never drafted Cam..
-
You gave me 1 that had nothing to do with on the field play.. Good for you.. But reality is that doesn't fit the actual question.. Who benches their number 1 cb after 1 bad half of football.. Not 1 bad night at the bar and missing practice during Superbowl week.
-
Force Cam to play or holdout.. okay .. That still doesn't seem like a great move so again.. Blame whoever's you want it doesn't change the fact Everybody was to blame for the Cam situation but just Rhule..
-
1 coach in nfl history and he benched him for off the field poo not on the field and lost that Superbowl and still blame for it to this day..
-
Ron for years thought that Secondary player could be found and wanted most of his players in the front 7.. How many years in Ron's tenure did we spend high draft picks on Secondary players?? Fox wanted Veteran QB.. We never drafted a QB high when Fox was here.. Please show what proof you had that Fox nor Ron had final say on the roster??

Over reaction Sunday and Monday are bad around here.. Trade Burns?? WTF
-
So you think they were willing to pay Cam 25 mil a season after the 2 years of injury because Cam has admitted that's what he wanted.. At that time he didn't want to do a prove it season.. He wanted long term security and he has said this.. So it wasn't just Tepper, Hurney's and Rhule Cam played a part in his departure..
-
Okay .. Cutting ties with Teddy was a Tepper decision.. And Sam ... Rhule got to eat that.. But that's still not enough to fire him after 1 year and a half on the job...
-
I agree but it doesn't change the fact it might take longer then a year in a half to find 1.. right.. I agree if Rhule stuck with Cam we wouldn't be here.. But I don't think that was Rhule plan alone.. Hurney's and Tepper green lite it after it seemed Cam was done.. He hadn't been healthy for 2 season and was looking for a long term deal for more then 25 million a season.. So I can't blame all if that on Rhule..
-
But we're talking about 1 position.. The hardest position to find on the team.. I'm just saying most coaches get more then a year and a half to find there QB.. Especially when they done a solid job at most every other position... right??
-
You haven't come up with a coaching change that was better... Mcclarin can play all over the field so moving CB to avoid him won't work.. Playing zone is always the way to cover up for a DB in 1 on 1 coverage.having problems. Our LB were the problem today also playing at horrible depth... There were also broken coverage plays from other Db's that hurt us.. It was just a bad matchup.. Its okay to admit that
-
Yes they did... Man stop with this made up history... Fox got the players he wanted most season and so did Ron... Other then Gettlmen years and how did that work out??
-
I will ... Galdly... I love the fact we have the richest owner in the league.. That speaks some truth and won't stand by when he sees the situation not going right??
-
Has that happened yet.. Because it was packed today.. And it took a 2 win season for that to happen here..
-
And Again Ron made similar mistakes in his 2nd year of coaching.. You don't just fire coach unless you see no improvement and he has lost the locker room.. Which hasn't happened here..
-
They started playing more Zone to help him.. Not much else he could do.. They move him to the slot then the Team just puts Mcclarin in the slot or you have a lesser CB covering Mcclarin in the outside?? At some point you got to trust a player to get his poo together because the other options aren't good either...
-
As a coach should... Fox had it so did Rivera.. Where is it different?? Last 2 years other then the QBs what players are you done with already that they've brought in??
-
That article didn't say Fit was a paper pusher or had no input like you categorize the situation.. They make trades like Seattle does and where does Fit come from?? And that's not a clear sign of a GM with some control..
