Simple the defense improves faster then anybody expected and they made mistakes at QB.. But it's still not a regression if they win more games then the year before and other then Qb, and Oline most of the team has improved from the year before...

You name 1 position and call the whole thing a regression that's fair... But let's look at this thing in Reality... 2020 pamdiec season.. The defense is gone.. No Luke, No TD, No Irving, No healthy DT on the roster, No Secondary other then a often injured DJax... Qb position was a mystery because Cam hasn't been healthy since 2018... Oline sucked just as much back then... Wr corp was Cmac and DJ.. No Robby, no Marshall, No Zystra, No Smith GREG IS GONE.. The Roster only had DJ, Cmac, Burns, Shaq, and Donte to build from.. Compare that to the roster now?? Regression what??

That don't matter.. He can't be the best CB we've had on the field when he hasn't been on the field 9 out of 11 games...

But if he hasn't played all year how has he been the best cb that has played this year??

They did!!!! They went to a zone.. They move coverage over to Mcclarin.. They doubled him.. Then Washington started running the ball down our throats.. And other player in that offense started making plays.. They made adjustments it just didn't work I'm sorry..

Are you fuging serious?? Horn played 2 games.. Gillmore has been a part time player.. The player who has been consistently out there and playing is Djax.. And this team for 11 games has a top 5 ranked defense.. That has to mean something..

Have we?? You do realize we only won 5 games last year.. We got 5 wins with 6 games left.. This defense alone went from bottom 10 to top 5.. Is that regression?? Really??

Jackson has been better this season just like Shaq has so let's stop rendering judgment after 1 game when we have 10 more to evaluate as well.. And I'm not sure you keep Jackson or Gilly.. Whoever is cheaper is my opinion but we shouldn't keep both with the young depths we have on reasonable contracts for the next 3 years...

And you could do that for every CB in the league.. Its the nature of the position you're not going to win every battle.. Deion didn't stop Jerry Rice all the time..

Cool . The Buffalo defense just got there asses handed to them By Carson Wentz and who is his WR corp again??? Dallas got crushed by the Broncos and TEDDY!! It Happens to every player and every defense... Henkie and crew scored more points on Tampa then us right?? And they have All Pro's all over that defense.. And let's just be factual here.. Against Dak, and Cousins what did Djax actually give up (rec. Yards, TD) .. Please research this before making a narrative...

No nobody can ever have a bad game here.. No one looks up the actual stats and realize dude has been playing at a pro bowl level most of the season and hasn't giving up many big plays all season..

Let's just keep this as a record.. Because alot ppl here believe they can flip flop and act like they didn't have this meltdown weeks later.. So receipt keeping is happening..

Roy, brown, Matos, Nixon, Hopkins are all under 25.. Add Burns and that is most of the Dline..

And last season was a pandemic season with a completely rebuild defense.. Does that not count in the evaluation??

3 games out of 11 this year we've been beaten on the trenches . HAlf of the Dline is under the age of 25.. For most of the season this has been a top5 defense after a full teardown just a year ago.. So please let's just Relax...

Okay there is this thing called a positional value chart.. Dt's don't rank high on it.. So paying 2 like KK would have handicapped the team from fixing anything else on the team.. Again since you're not getting this .. Star negotiation with us was different then his with Buffalo's.. He didn't want the contract he got from Buffalo from us.. He wanted KK'S contract or better.. Poe got a short deal. Poe didn't get KK'S deal... Star wanted more years and more Money from us.. Do you understand?? There is no hindsight 20/20 here unless you're talking we should have kept Star over KK.. Because we couldn't keep them both..
