And @PhillyB proves his cultural prowess once again. Gotta be honest bro, you didn't strike me as the type to know a lick about NASCAR. An archeologist with tats? and a beard that makes you look like you just walked out of an Irish pub? Not to mention very independent political views that dont necessarily match the typical NASCAR demographic? You, sir, have just blown my mind and expanded my consciousness. For that, I salute you. Nice work PhillyB. My only prediction for the game is that the Falcons are gonna walk in thinking they can pull a fast one on us. They'll play hard and probably play dirty for the first half. But much like the Titans, Redskins, or Cowboys there will come a point where we make them succumb to our will and we absolutely dominate them. Our boys on defense are probably pizzed off for their lackluster showing last week. Norman always gets hype to play against Julio. And Cam has this offense riding high without its top target. No score prediction from me. It's the one thing I get superstitious about if I haven't done my research. But I think it will be a highly enjoyable game for Panthers fans. Go Panthers and Keep fuging Pounding!

Lovie Smith doesn't have the best record with developing quarterbacks. Granted, he may never have had access to QB talent like Jameis. I just hope Winston has turned his life around. I don't hate the bucs. And I would really hate to start truly hating them for their thug QB. If they can run their organization with some integrity, I wont mind staying classy in our rivalry with them. Now the Falcons and Saints... they're just shitty organizations from top to bottom. Sure I bet there are admirable players and staff members on those teams, but as a whole, there's no love lost for me. I'm all to happy to watch the saints and Falcons flounder around for next five years (or ten) in mediocrity or less

Everyone makes a deal about us not playing the Saints with Drew Brees last time, but we didn't have Luke last time either... so... -
Yeah I can't get up with those Cowboy stars everywhere, but holy poo that last picture... perfecto. And that group picture you got? The one on the end on the right side? Damn vixen right there. They're all hot though so it's cool. 11/10 Igo. We appreciate your "sacrifice" ;)

Yeah no one will ever be able to convince me that a team has to lose to win. We've faced plenty enough adversity this season as it is. We don't need a loss to give us that adversity that toughens us. We're already tough

"This is what we expected from day one"
UpstatePanther replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
yeah not what i expected either honestly. i thought we would be 6-2 right about now, 5-3 maybe. but here i go getting existential: the only thing that separates us from, say, New Orleans, is the one or two plays that have come at just the right time: Josh Norman's pick-6 to steal the momentum and put us up 8 points. Jacksonville couldnt put anything together after that. Short's pressure on Mallet to force the intentional grounding, sealed the game against Houston. Norman's clutch INT in the New Orleans game, pretty much ended the game. Dickson's heads-up recovery of JStew's fumble down in Tampa that turned the momentum in our favor for good. Cam's outstanding awareness and Greg's clutch hands on the go-ahead TD in Seattle. Jared Allen's sack on Bradford to put the Eagles off schedule on their second to last drive. (would lead to a punt and a Carolina drive that ended in a field goal and all but ended the game for Philadelphia) Luke's INT in overtime to give us a chance at the game-winning kick (and Gano for booting that beautiful 52 yarder...) Thomas Davis' INT on 4th and 4 to all but salt the game away. (GB would end up getting one more play after our last drive, but only had 6 seconds to work with) Every week, one or two plays makes the difference for this team. i included the Tampa game, even though it was our only true blowout this season. that game was close for the first half, with each team going tit for tat. Think about it though, if the players above didnt make the plays they are making, we could well be staring at 1-7 with hope all but lost. The media cant call it luck either... each one of the plays mentioned above were pure effort from the player. The Panthers are separated from "mediocrity" by just a handful of plays. but isnt that what always separates good teams from mediocre teams? just a few plays? here's to hoping we dominate the competition for the rest of the season. That will show the world that we are... dare i say it?... elite.- 32 replies

The rules are clearly outlined. Sign was against stadium policy. No judge is going to let this go anywhere
-
Dafuq?

Giants are just awful. Saints aren't really cellar dwellers, but they aren't anywhere near good either
-
That would be everyone haha
-
How is this Atlanta team 6-1. they look pathetic
-
The stadium where half the seats are empty midway through the first quarter. You know... yours Falcon boy
-
My God that stadium is so empty. If it's like that for the Panthers game, we are going to invade that stadium like never before
-
I see how it is @Jeremy Igo instead of pinning my thread, you just start your own. Perks of being the MFCEO I guess ;) screw you dude. Nah man you're awesome for all you do for the Huddle! All hail Zod!

yep. This team has the chance to contend for a title this year. The Ravens, barring a miracle, will not... unfortunately, yes. :/ they won't stop until the second year after Smitty retires. Even the year after, people will still be making threads saying he will come back or should. It won't stop until it sets in that he has finally hung up the cleats
