just like a clumsy, self-conscious little brother would do... but seriously... i didnt know this. water under the bridge for me at this point, but if i hear that at all from a Jacksonville fan, i am going to flip on them haha though that statement begs the question, does anyone actually know a Jacksonville fan? last i heard, they were even more rare than a Butt Pirate fan...

it's hard to not feel bad for the Jaguars. haha. they are one of the few cellar dwellers that I allow myself to feel bad for, mainly due to the expansion team ties. they're like our clumsy little brother who can't seem to do any thing right lol

I want to be put on 'The Map' by this time next year.
UpstatePanther replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
agreed. but we are rapidly gaining more fans. they will start as bandwagon fans or children who grow up with the Panthers around, but in 10 years time, our fanbase will be youthful and rockin! this, of course, is predicated on the Panthers continuing to string together competitive seasons. -

this map (https://interactive.twitter.com/nfl_followers2014/) says that Alabama is beginning to be a Panther stronghold EDIT: well I thought it did. oh well. it used to before the season ended. but I guess this map updates in real time because there are a hell of alot more blue counties in eastern NC than last time I saw this map. not that I'm complaining!! EDIT #2: if you select only the Panthers, you can see how all of Alabama has more Panthers fans than the rest of the country outside of the home states. -
partially trying to test my ability to post a tweet, but here is this nugget... EDIT: im failing miserably to post a tweet haha. here is the link: https://twitter.com/trai_turner/status/595621861087674370

i dont know how i feel about this. i certainly dont blame Cam for not wanting to take away from others' graduations. but at the same time, he has earned the right to be cheered for something more important than wins and touchdowns. he deserves this. admirable move by our beloved QB. makes me respect him all the more. but i do wish he would walk...

LOL not that I agree with your assessment of the team owner, but I would like you to outline how we would go about changing the ownership of the team.... humor me please

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000483028/article/damiere-byrd-of-south-carolina-runs-428-40-on-grass talk about adding speed! holy crap!

forget what i said about him looking slow and lumbering. that kid has moves that will break some db's ankles in the NFL, either juking them or simply running them over. and he has the acceleration to pull away from the pack in no time. how the hell did this kid last all the way to the 5th round?! my only question is whether he can catch out of the backfield. can anyone answer that?

lol who is David Mayo?
-
Panthers on the clock. bet its a DT considering who is still on the board
-
The Bucs have been drafting well this year. i predict a 4-6 game improvement for them.
-
this helps us immensely. more defense/RB to pick from when our comp picks are on the clock
-
fug. there goes Amos to the Bears. dammit haha i wanted him on the Panthers so bad. oh well... in Gman i trust
-
safeties starting to fly off the board. given that Gman has labeled Thompson as an LB, im really hoping we take a tweener CB/safety in the 5th. here's to Adrian Amos! i think our running backs are fine for now. DE is a bigger need in my mind right now. im hoping our two 5ths will be a safety/CB and a DE. its looking like there are still plenty of safety, CB, and DL prospects left. safety is still the deepest at this point imho.

Carolina Panthers Trade Up Select Oklahoma's Daryl Williams
UpstatePanther replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
yea sorry. it took me that long to read through the entire thread haha -
i read an article about him a few hours ago where his agent was talking him up big time and dismissing the injury. acting like it was a huge shock that he hadnt been drafted yet. at first it made me think that teams were just being paranoid, but i suppose its more likely to be the agent trying to trump up his client
-
we have speed in Ginn, Brown, and Hill. we have playmakers in Benji and Funchess. the FO seems satisfied with that. at this point, i'm tending to agree with them.
