  1. Gotta wonder how much that legal stuff and his attitude influenced them.
  2. It will be interesting to see what Streichen can do with him. He's landing in a great spot as well.
  3. Will Levis is probably wanting a mayonnaise sammich right about now.
  4. We even disagree on who to take but that's all good too. As long as it works out for the Panthers and we hoist a couple Lombardis, I don't give a poo.
  5. I'm not sure for how long though. At some point the other players are going to get fed up with guys taking 25-30% of the ca, while the team and other players end up suffering from lack of cap space. I think it will at some point end up similar to the rookie salary cap. Vets were getting pissed because they couldn't get a decent salary because of massive contracts to one player. I think we'll see the same again when winning teams are almost impossible to build because 3 or 4 players are making more than the other 49.
  6. His side won. Now we have to wait and see if his team can.
  7. He played the last 2 years if his contract on his rookie deal. Mahomes signed an extension 3 years into his rookie deal. Think an agent wouldn't have been pushing to have his MVP QB to play year 4 on a rookie deal because I sure as hell don't.
  8. Not hiding but I don't live on the Huddle either. He got his deal done. Good for him. He was also reprimanded by the NFLPA for using a non approved agent in his negotiations and teams were told not to converse with a non approved agent. He got his deal, and it wasn't a fully guaranteed deal like he had been asking for according to DeMaurice Smith, head of the NFLPA. And no matter how much you want to taut that he got his deal done, the simple fact is he missed out on probably 70-80m in the past 2 years by not having an agent. And we also don't know the fine details of that contract so it may not be as good as the numbers suggest. I'm still happy that we didn't give up 3 1sts plus and that size contract for him. Doesn't change anything for me.
  9. BY is the most ready now. With the right coaching, I think AR could be down right scary. We have the coaching staff I think. But Dalton is not the QB I want playing an entire season while he learns. They could both end up being special. AR has the potential to do more with his feet. If he gets his accuracy and short range passes under control, he's going to be a lethal passer.
  10. But before you jumped on the BY train you were all sell out for CJ. Opinions change of course and not everyone is sold on BY as the next big, or in his case little, thing. That's why the draft process is so much fun.
  11. Yeah, I caught that when he said it a couple of months ago. Gotta wonder what Denver would have done if they still had that pick and RW contract.
  12. I gotta go with Jimmy Pickles. We used him to get the number 1 pick. Great value.
  13. Seattle makes perfect sense. He needs time to develop. Geno so far is a one year wonder. 2 very good WRs and Pete Carroll. Good landing spot
  14. I enjoy Walterfootball draft grades. The worse he grades us the better I feel.
  15. Watch the 1st pick, then Oilers/Kings game 6, watch the rest scroll across the bottom of the screen.
  16. I'm going with he decides to bring back the feathered mullet. Business in the front, wtf in the back.
  17. AR fan and I'm not going to be upset. I think AR has the potential to be special and I think we have the coaching staff that could get him there. I also realize situation plays a huge role and this isn't the best situation for him to come when we need a day 1 starter. I hope whoever we select is successful here. AR needs more time to develop than we have to wait unfortunately.
  18. Not really. Dalton is not someone you want starting the whole season at this point. If it were similar to Smith-Mahomes, Geno-rookie, Rodgers-Love, Farve-Rodgers, Brady-Jimmy G, then I'd say yeah. But we really don't have a solid starter at this point. Whichever rookie comes in is going to be competeting for the starting role.
  19. I like AR and he's actually my preference in this draft. He's not ready now. He needs time and if the Panthers had the opportunity for him to sit behind a starter like the situation in Seattle, he could be the pick. But we're not in that situation and BY is the most NFL ready. BY will be the pick.
  20. I hate to say it but he's actually right about Bridgewater. Look at the roster we trotted out after T2G. Darnold, PJ, Half a Cam, Baker. My god what was Rhule thinking? Or was he?
  21. What if we ended up with a 1st and Michael Pittman?
  22. Riger Goodell is still going to look like an out of place ass clown.
