  1. Sorry man but he got blown out by the team that went to the playoffs and got blown out. If we had gone, the score could have easily been 56-0 and we may have been praying for a mercy rule. The 22' NFCS was one of the worst divisions the NFL has ever seen. Winning it wasn't winning anything. Against any other division, we wouldn't have even sniffed the playoffs.
  2. Development doesn’t just happen on the field. Theres so much more off the field. He’s in a tougher situation than most being that he was a draft pick under Rhule and now has a new system with a coach that has no ties coming off a broken foot. Hes not BY and you can’t expect him to progress at that rate. Hes a 3rd round project QB with a number 1 pick in front of him. BY should be getting the most practice reps, followed by AD. Realistic expectations should be 2-3 years as a 3rd string QB and if hes more, great, if not, move on. Its barely been 2 weeks in TC. I don't care if MC makes the team or not. But weve got to be realistic in our expectations. If BY and AD go down, our season is over anyway. MC just gets us better draft position, minus that 1st of course.
  3. I care about what's best for the team because I want the team to ultimately win a SB. From a business perspective though, MC is a low cost, potential backup that we can cut at any time if we find someone better. Dalton is what he is. At this point, developing Corral isn't going to change anything for AD. If someone else comes along that is better, so long Matt. No other team is going to rush up and scoop him up if he's as bad as everyone is claiming he is to make him their starter. Right now, he's JAG and I'm OK with that.
  4. You never know what you have in this league. Let him develop. What can it hurt? If he's a capable backup with time, great. If not, release him. We've seen what happens when you lose both QBs when it matters. For now, he's just a guy trying to make the roster. He's a 3rd round pick for a reason. With the emergency roster spot we literally have nothing to lose by seeing if he can grow and learn under actual NFL caliber coaches.
  5. I understand why we traded him, but it's pretty crazy to see what he can do when he has a QB that can actually get him the ball.
  6. I've played using both variations and the .1 per yard on field goals makes it interesting. It makes kickers much more relevant in team building strategy and balances out positional scoring so any given Sunday, anyone can be a week winner.
  7. Can you verify payment has been received. Just sent mine
  8. Remember that markup has other costs built into the price. I never let a customer buy materials because if they order the wrong thing or don’t inspect it I’m likely dealing with sub par materials. Where I am in the PNW, single man trucks are operating at $125 an hour and up, $185 for a 2 man. Price sounds reasonable to me depending on how good he is. My only concern would be the couple of days comment. Most contractors know exactly how long a job will take. Ill pay more for top end foundation and framing contractors because those affect everything else.
  9. Planning ahead for your oline is never too far away. We've seen what happens when you ignore long term plans at the position. Otherwise you end up with this.
  10. What really gets you is Laviska didn't have any of his catches beyond the LOS last year. I believe he was the only receiver in the NFL to achieve this.
  11. Heard somewhere that he has no interest in playing the run, he just wants to pass rush. If true, his career options will be even more limited.
  12. I like JM but 20 bucks for a sub is insane. Plus the one i go to is usually a 30-45 minute wait so i pass most of the time.
  13. Now that Mr. Meatball and Co are gone, it's become painfully obvious, even moreso than it already was, how under qualified that entire staff was as a unit.
  14. Just how I read it. Sounded like you were saying we still have a 25' first to work with because we traded away DJ.
  15. Kind of my thought too. In 25' we may be looking for a new WR or TE, possibly even C or T depending on what happens. Defense is great, but the NFL is highly focused on bigger and better offense, so having the ability to build around our shiny new QB seems like the prudent avenue, for the moment.
  16. If we an edge rusher away from realistically contending for a SB then it would make sense. We're not and giving up assets that we may need to build around our rookie QB isn't going to make getting there any easier.
  17. That high ankle sprain with 1 reception and 15 yards cost me my championship. Was a very nice prize pool.
  18. No issues at all with constantly trying to improve our oline and its depth. We've seen what happens when you have poor depth. That's how guys like Jordan make the roster. If he's better than what we have, great. If not, move on. No need to be emotional in the decision. But let's be real, who doesn't want to see an angry white buffalo crushing an unsuspecting LB, just for old time's sake.
  19. I remember that day well. Me and my dad weren't getting along much, but for those 4 hours, the only thing that mattered was Pamthers football and massive sunburn. Still ranks as one of the top 10 days ever.
  20. Between Swift and Penny thats 4 games played before a trip to IR.
  21. But do you reset the market based on hope that he will perform at a higher level in a new position? That feels like a very Hurneyeque thing to do. The Panthers put themselves in this position turning down 2 1sts and a 2nd. Not that they should or shouldn't have taken that trade, but that's a lot of value. Burns is going to get paid no doubt. I just hope we don't ridiculously overpay for a player that has yet to show he can consistently stop the run or set the edge.
  22. I get the trots just thinking about eating there. I picked up some bo rounds for my dad and the bottom literally fell out of the bag from all the excess grease.
