Right there with ya. I said from the start, if he played at Kansas Tech instead of Bama he'd be a day 3 or UDFA vs the number 1 pick. He knew how to play Tepper's ego and it got him a check for 30 million bucks. He probably called Rhule for a certain meatball recipe too.

If this was any other QB not taken 1st overall, they'd already be benched or cut. There's no excuse for it. This isn't about winning. It's about proving someone was right.

Doesn't matter if we trade for picks or not. The same GM that helped get us in this position is still here. And if it was Tepper making picks and forcing the coach to keep BY starting without any real QB competition, well he's still here too. Right now we're fugged and it all starts at the top.

Wilks wasn't my choice either, but he didn't hire either of mine, both of whom took real QBs in Stroud and AR.

We did, but compared to what we gave up for Bryce for what we got, it looks like a fuggin bargain.

The only panic is knowing that the person who helped draft BY is now our GM and Dave and Nicole are still calling the shots.

I'd take Darnold 100 out of 100 for a 2nd, 4th and 6th instead of what we gave up for Bryce.

We don't though. You can't expect a defense in today's NFL to need to shut out the opponent every single game to win. You're down 7-0 and the game is over. BY is that terrible. Sand lot football doesn't work in the NFL.

And people here thought we overpaid for Darnold.

Our defense gives up one touchdown and the game is over. They have to be better than perfect to win a game.

Tepper should have been in mining instead of hedge funds because the man surr does know how to dig a deep hole to climb out of.

Eddie LeBaron 60 years ago. The last QB Bryce's size, Eddie was smaller at 5'7", was 60 years ago. There's been a couple thousand QBs in the NFL since then and the last one to have sustained success was 60 years ago. The odds of Bryce making it in the NFL at his size are less than 1/10th of 1%. Add in the fact Bryce didn't compete against the other 3 at the combine, showed up much heavier than his actual playing weight, his processing speed vs physical ability at the NFL level, and it was obvious to many of us the books were being cooked. Tepper bought the shyt sandwich. We the fans have to eat it.

It's not worth paying for those things even if the tickets were free.

After watching Sunday, I'd consider 1 miraculous. The simple truth is Bryce isn't ready to be an NFL starter. This really feels like Tepper trying to prove he's right vs Canales getting to do what he knows is right.

If he's not ready in practice, he's not ready for game day and it shows. It's so damn obvious he's in over his head and is not ready for this stage yet, if ever. This team needs to be about winning, not about proving that he's is an NFL QB. PLAY. TO. WIN.
