Breaking, Ian Rapoport: Fitterer Fired
SmokinwithWilly replied to NJPanthers12's topic in Carolina Panthers
Also depends on who is selected with the draft picks we gave up and how their career path goes. -
He's gonna risk his career if he keeps this up.
-
Didn't want him canned but gotta be honest, was very fugging tired of losing to the brown eyes.
-
Don't forget the two 2nd round picks as well. It's possible BY won't even be on the roster by the time that last 2nd rounder rolls around.
-
They need to hit on that first round pick for QB.
-
is there a worse destination than Carolina for a GM or HC?

Everyone always jokes about how a fan could make a better choice. In Fitts case, I think that was absolutely truth. -
We couldnt win a game if the other team forfeited.
-
We're contending for the worst team the NFL has ever seen. Does that count?
-
Possibly not. He would have only had the 23 2nd to waste. If he's fired tomorrow, someone else could have wasted both 1sts.
-
It's amazing how many of us were called idiots for screaming that Fitts should have taken that deal and run and never looked back.

Lawrence wasn't that hyped even that much in fantasy circles. He ranged between 8-12 of the starting QBs. His hype was more around the potential of the Ridley, Kirk, Ingram trio than his ability as a QB.
-
Herbert was hyped because he had some serious weapons. Ekeler, Allen, Williams, Palmer and Johnson. That's a juggernaut of offense. Burrow had Chase, Higgins, Boyd and Mixon. Lawrence had Kirk, Ridley, Jones, Engram and Etienne. They deserved some offensive hype because they had some damn good players on offense.

Having an owner that doesn't let have his wife acting as head of scouting wouldn't be a bad thing.
-
He doesn't know how to lose and it shows.
-
True. But Jax also didn't give up the haul we did to acquire him either.
-
Being a rookie has nothing to do with his footwork being hot garbage, or not being able to zip a ball to an NFL open receiver, or being able to be brought down by a fingertip. That hop skip and float crap worked at Bama but it doesn't cut it in the NFL. Are there issues? Absolutely. But Bryce is a huge part of them.
-
The fans have already been gutted.
-
This season didn't have to be this bad that's the worst part. Bryce wasn't ready to be a full time starter. Dalton should have been playing at least half the season.
