Is it time to fly that Panthers flag upside down?

I can't say the Jags are the biggest dumpster fire. They at least fired their laughing stock of a head coach. We're doubling down on ours.

That's where I'm at. Panthers football was always the background around which we gathered. Now that money and interest will be spent elsewhere.

When they announce Rhule is officially back next year, I will officially check out. I will begin planning my golf trips for every Sunday next year. Every tee time will be booked and I will find myself a nice different scotch, whiskey or bourbon to share with my friends on the course and BBQ afterwards.

I'm not sure how we would be able to prioritize improving the offensive line and taking another swing at QB with no 1sts or 2nds for the next few years or cap room. I'm sure Watson or Wilson would be more than happy to line up every Sunday behind our core offensive line of Jordan, Elfein and Miller. It's a David Newton article. You can't blame Fitts because Rhule is hot garbage. That's like shooting your horse because it can't pull your wagon when the wheels are broken.

The only real fault with this plan, and I'm not against it really, is you have to have someone willing to move up to 5. Typically, that's to get a QB. Unless there's a QB that comes flying up the draft board, there's not going to be a huge trade demand. Could there be some demand for one of the tackles? Possibly. But again, not near as much as there would be for a top QB.

That's the weird part. BA said post game he's no longer a Buc yet he's still on the team which leads one to think there's more to this than just AB going off the deep end again. It may be just that, AB had a temper tantrum, and stormed off, but wouldn't you think, with roster space so valuable, that cutting AB and getting a guy in and up to speed especially headed into the playoffs would be of utmost importance.

I know we weren't happy with Rivera at the end, but I don't remember this level of vitriol towards him. This is just getting downright bad.

Once the regular season is over, the NFL needs to do what the NHL did and put all players and personnel into quarantine for the playoffs. Yes I know it's a PITA but it's the only way to really fairly and safely conduct the playoffs in the midst of covid. No team should have to forfeit because 40 players test positive despite having met the requirements for vaccination.

That's the big question. I have no faith in Rhule to pick out toilet paper much less decide the future of this franchise. So far he has spent a ridiculous amount of $, a 2nd, 4th and 6th on Sam Darnold and TB5 and we still have nothing at QB except PJ taking up space on our bench when he wouldn't even take up space on someone else's practice squad. We can't block, we can't pass, we won't run, our receivers forgot how to catch, our OC playbook is from Madden pop warner. We're a fugging disgrace.

I'm rooting for a new NFL record for points against. Maybe that will be embarrassing enough to get Rhule a pink slip.

Here was my thought when we brought in Darnold. After talking with him, and discussing how he goes through his pre snap reads, snap, progressions, etc, that there was something there that the coaches thought they could teach him that could change and help him grow as a QB and make things easier. Sometimes it's all in how you see something. That was my hope. What happened when we brought him here was much different. We threw him to the wolves with no improvement on the oline, an offense that actually plays to his weaknesses, and virtually no shot to get better. And this is what we got. It's no surprise he sucks. He just happens to be Rhule's guy so he's going to cover for him. Cam wasn't so he doesn't give a poo.

It made some sense theoretically. If Darnold could be salvaged a 2nd, 4th and 6th would have been a steal. But that would have required a coach that didn't make Adam Gase look like a QB whisperer. Unfortunately we don't have that.

Would the Arizona Cardinals have taken him over Levi Brown in hindsight. Probably. The Raiders would have definitely taken him over the walrus if they had to chose between the 2.
