  1. Young played the game to the terms of 30 million guaranteed. He put on weight for the combine and then didn't participate. He psychologically put a whoopin' on Dave and Nicole and he knew exactly how to play them to get taken at 1. Somehow a test no one has really even heard of is suddenly the golden ticket to finding a NFL QB and BY happens to have been practicing it for years? Bryce was a snake oil salesmen and the Panthers (Dave and Nicole) got taken.
  2. To all my huddle family, I hope all of you and your families are safe. I'm in the PNW and my heart goes out to all of yall. Take care of yourselves and your family.
  3. 1 game in and he's already halfway to Bryce's career win total. He's earned a few more.
  4. TBH, a huge part of me wants to make him ride the pine unless someene is dumb enough to offer us a 1st. He screwed us over with all that pre draft BS. Let's screw him over and make him a bench warmer.
  5. I remember listening to locked on Panthers after his first game in Atlanta and Julian emphasized how on the 1st pick, Bryce said he didn't bother to look off the safety. I don't know why that's always stuck with me. It made me think he expected this to come easy, and it's been anything but. This isn't 5 star vs 2 and 3 star recruits. They're all the elite of the 5 stars.
  6. He is standing. It's just the same height as sitting.
  7. Yay! The man in charge of the worst record in the NFL since he took over is here to help!
  8. Win-win is Dalton gives us the best chance to evaluate Mingo, XL, Brooks, Sanders (not miles), DJ, Theilen and our OL. Whether we win 4 games or 8, knowing what we have in our offensive players is far more important than trying to save Bryce's career.
  9. Bryce should never have been starting. He has one half of football that looks pro level in 18 games. Tepper has been heavily involved in operating a business He knows nothing about. I don't care if Tepper benched him. Tepper drafted and started him when it's clear to anyone who watched last season and 2 games of this that BY has never been a starting caliber QB in the NFL.
  10. Not really. The team sees more than we the fans see and what we the fans saw was god awful. I think the team was done with it and Dave could read the writing on the wall. These guys don't sacrifice their bodies and time with family to rah rah behind someone who obviously can't play the position at an NFL level with at least some level of competency. Dave didn't lose the locker room, Bryce did. Dave just publicly recognized it.
  11. You have to wonder if this level of play is why BY wasn't playing preseason. There would be no way to start him if he was this bad in the preseason against 1's
  12. I genuinely believe there's a reason Bryce won't step up into the pocket and it's that he can't and still see the field. His oline guys are massive and wide. His eyes are at or below most of their shoulder level. If he steps up he's blind. You cannot get a clear view of the field when you can't see and tight pockets are his kryptonite.
  13. You can't destroy the development of other players because you want to keep playing Bryce for the number 1 pick.
  14. Appears to be a little harder to diagnose a defense on the field than at the dinner table.
  15. Right there with ya. I said from the start, if he played at Kansas Tech instead of Bama he'd be a day 3 or UDFA vs the number 1 pick. He knew how to play Tepper's ego and it got him a check for 30 million bucks. He probably called Rhule for a certain meatball recipe too.
  16. If this was any other QB not taken 1st overall, they'd already be benched or cut. There's no excuse for it. This isn't about winning. It's about proving someone was right.
  17. Doesn't matter if we trade for picks or not. The same GM that helped get us in this position is still here. And if it was Tepper making picks and forcing the coach to keep BY starting without any real QB competition, well he's still here too. Right now we're fugged and it all starts at the top.
  18. That looks like a pop warner passing chart
  19. Running a successful NFL team is hard without insider trading.
  20. Wilks wasn't my choice either, but he didn't hire either of mine, both of whom took real QBs in Stroud and AR.
  21. We did, but compared to what we gave up for Bryce for what we got, it looks like a fuggin bargain.
  22. The only panic is knowing that the person who helped draft BY is now our GM and Dave and Nicole are still calling the shots.
