  1. He reminds me of Russell Wilson in his ability to freelance when a play broke down. That diva thing though, that poo is a problem. I'm out in the PNW and know a LOT of Seahawks fans and they liked RW during the game but hated all the diva BS that constantly followed him everywhere.
  2. There's always the hope that he trips on his way to the microphone and somehow falls into the audience where the crowd parts to let him hit the ground instead of catching him to crowd surf. That'd take the sting away for 2.7 seconds or so.
  3. I'd rather have Jimmy Pickles than Mitch Trubisky. At least Pickles would guarantee the 1st overall. He's done it before. He could do it again. Trubisky would end up having 1 good game and fugging up the whole program.
  4. The kick bouncing off SF player's heel changed the game. That doesn't happen and SF is celebrating a 6th title. Sometimes, that literally is just the way the ball bounces.
  5. Wilks did really well until that cover zero prevent defense crap. As soon as that started, I knew Reid was going to tear him apart. The one thing you don't want to give Mahomes is an easy open middle of the field. Play the game that's been successful all night. Don't change just because it's the 4th quarter.
  6. We also picked a hell of a year to go against the Sheriff riding off into the sunset tour.
  7. Wilks called a hell of a game but Reid took him to school on the last drive.
  8. I hate to break it to you but you don't understand sarcasm at all.
  9. KC wins, he proposes. KC loses, she breaks up with him and debuts her new song while the Lombardi is being handed out.
  10. The comparison was to Burns and the contract he was offered. I have no worries about Frankie at 4/45. I said halfway through the season he was outplaying Burns and should get paid. Not signing him last year was just another Scott Fubar.
  11. If he asks for 30 mil a year, let him walk. If someone offered 2 1sts and a high 2nd in trade, buh bye. Frankie is a baller and I'd love to keep him, as long as the Financials work out.
  12. And from what I read this morning, if Chicago doesn't take a QB at 1, they're looking for the biggest haul for a 1st overall in NFL history.
  13. Bene Benwikere jersey seems to stick in my memory for some damn reason.....
  14. The goal should always be developing talent and improving the roster. If there's a QB that we think could develop into a solid backup or potential starter, we need to be looking at him. Every player is 1 hit from their career being over. It's foolish to just assume that Bryce, CJ or AR don't fall into that category just because they're young.
  15. Get a Kelvin Benjamin. That way if you get any food stains on it it will look even more authentic.
  16. Reading comprehension is not your strong suit. He succeeded in the regular season. Ive acknowledged that. He was also fortunate enough to be on a team with not 1 but 2 MVP candidates on offense. Plus he went to a loaded defense on a SB contender. That makes your job as a DC a whole lot easier. But now the regular season is over and we judge games individually. Playoffs is one and done. His defensive plan was not good enough against the Lions. Give up 30 and your team loses 7 of 8. That gets you the 1st pick in the draft. Those are the statistical facts. GB wasnt a masterful defensive performance at home either. The Lions miscues and the offense bailed him out. Now it's the SB and I'll judge this defensive performance for this defensive performance. Regular season was good. Playoffs have been mediocre. Just calling it what it is. I'd say the same thing about Ryans and he was my favorite defensive HC candidate last year.
  17. CMC dominated every game he played this year. The same can't be said of any other MVP candidate. The award was his, but it's. QB award now. Just like when Rodgers won over Kupp in the most dominant season for a receiver in a long time. He was unstoppable. Kupp led his team to a Lombardi while Rodgers watched and whined.
  18. Wilks isn't considered a let down. But to scream at the top of your lungs that his defense is the reason SF won after giving up 30 is delusional. In the NFL this year, only 1 out of every 8 teams that allowed 30 points won the game. That's 12.5%. That's losing football. SF offense bailed out the defense in that game. If not for a ridiculous catch by Aiyuk, Gibbs running to the wrong side of Goff, 2 ill-advised 4th down tries instead of FGs, and Lions receivers forgetting how to catch the ball when it hits them in the hands in the 3rd, the outcome of the game would have been different. I'm all for giving Wilks props when he deserves it. But his defense did not win the game against the Lions. If his defense rocks KC, I'll give him all the props in the world. If KC hangs 30 or 40 on them and they still win, it won't be because the defense was getting it done.
  19. Well if KC scores 40 points, his defense isn't beating them. It's like saying if SF wins, Sam Darnold is a Super Bowl winning QB. While technically true, it doesn't mean he was directly responsible for winning the game. Denver beat Carolina in SB50 is spite of Manning, not because of him. You judge the performance, not just the outcome.
  20. He's trying to prove he knows talent so he can BS his way to another NFL position next year after he gets fired from Nebraska for sucking.
  21. We'd have to pay someone to take that bloated contract.
  22. If SF wins 41-38, you can say his defense didn't beat Mahomes and still like the guy and be happy for him. The defense holds Reid and Mahomes to 10 points and then youve got a real discussion about how his defense was key to winning the Super Bowl. It will all depend on the outcome, even if they win.
  23. That's like saying I wanted to draft Tom Brady but got overruled while he's hoisting his 7th Lombardi. Rhule is such a fug nugget.
