  1. TB gets calls no other QB could dream about. Cam would have gotten a personal foul for roughing the pass rusher.
  2. If Tepper hires the next HC and not Fitts if hes still here, I would expect Fitts to walk and Morgan not far behind him. And this team would be in a worse spot. No GM will want to come here and not be allowed to do his job. It would be a career suicide move.
  3. I don't see anything changing. My only hope is one of our NFL HC coaching candidates with experience isn't Joe Judge or Adam Gase.
  4. Other than satisfying the fans, firing Rhule isn't going to accomplish a lot. Unless we send McAdoo and half our Templor staff with him, then what. There's not really time to get a new HC and OC and get it all implemented in a week. I look for him to get fired after the game before our bye to give at least 2 weeks to do something.
  5. Over under 100, the times CMC name is pronounced wrong.
  6. Keep Tabor, fire the rest. Don't let Ryans leave Charlotte.
  7. If he leaves its not going to change anything. Half this staff is Temple Baylor alum.
  8. He wasn't obviously concussed but there was obviously something going on. Adrenaline can make you capable of things that normally don't happen. Having something tap your spinal cord can cause jelly legs, I can attest to that one personally. He shouldn't have been back out, but he wasn't necessarily concussed.
  9. 6:30 for me. Was listening to fantasy football guys podcast the other day and they were talking to a guy in Australia that gets up at 3am to set his fantasy lineup. Having to do Europe time zones, EST and PST would be a nightmare.
  10. NFL and NFLPA have released the results of their investigation into the Tua injury. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-nflpa-joint-statement-on-investigation-into-handling-of-dolphins-qb-tua-tago "While the investigation determined that the team medical staff and unaffiliated medical professionals followed the steps of the Protocol as written, the NFL and NFLPA agree that the outcome in this case is not what was intended when the Protocols were drafted." Looks like Tua was not concussed as had been stated, but there was obviously something wrong. Expect them to take a serious look into this during the off-season and expect it to get redone. I do expect them to start watching these guys with far more scrutiny than before now, and rightfully so. The 2nd instance very much reminded me of seeing Luke on the cart.
  11. All those empty blue seats will intimidate the fug out of them.
  12. I thought the Broncos would be much better. Their defense could carry a load, they needed RW to be average or better than average to get into the playoffs. RW is unrecognizable right now. Watching him last night made me think about Clausen. It was horrible and that's being generous.
  13. Brown also said he lost 15 lbs this offseason so he could be more of a pass rusher and less run stuffer. It's just they didn't bring in anyone else to actually be the run stuffing dlineman.
  14. No and that decision doesn't have to be made today.
  15. Not that plain and not that simple. Our play calling is borderline college/high school. There's no deception, Baker is taking almost every snap out of the shotgun, and we have one of the easiest offenses in the NFL to read and game plan for. Baker is surely fugging up his part, but make no mistake McAdoo and Rhule are not doing him or this offense any favors.
  16. We run a very simple offense that telegraphs a lot of plays. Defense study tape too. They know when he's likely to pass and to get their arms up. Baker is at fault some but not completely. Our offensive play calling is predictable and easy to defend.
  17. The BLeav podcast with Jstew addressed the batted balls and think Baker may have a tell from tapping the ball or the way he shifts in the pocket may tell dline guys to stop rushing and get hands up.
