  1. It really doesn’t help things when certain people with no connections at all push dumb narratives on Twitter to help boost their following
  2. Oh man here we go again... There’s two sides to every story
  3. Hmm no, step 1 of this entire thing would be having Watson agree to be traded to Carolina. Without it, nothing else matters. Carolina’s interest is real, Watson hasn’t ruled us out, that’s all we can ask for. There are obviously a couple of teams that can offer better packages and that’s out of the Panthers control. If the Panthers don’t get Watson, I’m guessing it won’t be due to a lack of effort
  4. Jones having another great day today
  5. Newman won’t make it out of the 2nd
  6. Left tackle. There isn’t any other answer. There could be as many as 5 left tackles taken in the top 20
  7. Looks like some of the locker room problems I had mentioned are starting to come out today. There’s obviously a lot more to it but yeah, like I mentioned above, Wheeler is the root of all the issues. 34 year old loser captain.
  8. Watson and Allen Robinson will be Jets
  9. And don’t say Seth Jarvis just because he’s from here
  10. @zacka77ack What were you thinking trade package wise for Laine?
  11. It’s amazing how people can’t seem to grasp this. If DW doesn’t want to play there he won’t. Simple as that. It does no favors to either side having him sit out or him showing up disgruntled. Just saw something similar happen in the NHL this week with Pierre-Luc Dubois.
  12. The Jets made their bed when they decided to pay a 34 year old Blake f’n Wheeler and retain Maurice. I still believe Laine would’ve signed here long term had they offered him top dollar and put him on the top line (he deserved both). The locker room was split into two groups a couple seasons back and it’s never been the same since. Hopefully the Jets can lock up PLD long term. His dad coaches here with the Moose (AHL) so it’s not as far fetched that PLD stays as some may think.
  13. There could be a couple nice pieces available this off-season that have those connections
  14. I’m just saying Fields, Fitts and Russ all share baseball backgrounds. Seattle is big on athletics and so is Rhule. There are also parts of playing shortstop that come out when playing QB. It’s also why I can’t see Fitterer and Rhule drafting a guy like Mac Jones. As far as the other things you said I agree. That OSU offensive scheme doesn’t help either. It was well documented that Haskins needed a year to sit and learn. He didn’t get that which ended up being part of the reason (obviously there’s off the field issues there) he struggled so much.
  15. It’s worth mentioning that like Russ and Fitterer, Justin Fields has a baseball background as well. He’s an athlete.
